I know what you are saying and you are right. Lots of firms now will get a “credit line” against a customer. As soon as they raise an invoice against a customer and feed the info into their bank then the supplying firm will get paid 80/90% of the bill. If the customer has a decent credit rating...

It’s hard to go after directors. They only have to prove that they had reason to believe that there was a good chance of turning thinks around. I think the term is “blue sky” thinking. Ironically

Maybe Wasps had a good credit score. Some SME’s might have had credit lines in place for them (Ie could get invoice finance and credit insurance against them). HSBC seemed to be courting along up until mid summer - Wasps would have been glossing their figures - giving HSBC sexed up MI reports...

I did think the sign company had reclaimed the Stadium signs for non payment and our hopes that the Wasps were gone for good were a bit premature. But then I thought, weren’t the signs bundled into a plain white van, a signwriting company would have a sign written van, right?

Page 24 where “COVID had a significant impact” is seemingly an obvious point. Just a mark in the sand here with the statement made by the RugbyPL - something like “Wasps can appeal if they can show the financial problems we’re down to exceptional circumstances (such as COVID)

Head of Recruitment Chris Badlan and Chief Scout Stuart Benthom have left the Club.

You are probably right but I’m guessing his wages are low so worth a year or two. He could end up a Ponti, but equally we were going to let McSheff go for £80k and a few years later we got a decent fee (£3m in total?). Sheff was great before he left first time. If Tavares isn’t costing much...

Hope so. Tavares maybe not. Rest? Off the payroll please.

Maybe posted elsewhere but Chris Allen also gone? (to be fair didn’t know he was here) (or he might be doing both roles - not really clear)

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

Don’t care. I believe added to the overall debt / amount SISU need to sell up. I can’t be arsed to trade snarky comments. Leave it at that.

Great insight. Probably funded externally from imaginary money tree? I’d wager added to “investment”. They don’t seem to be flush with spare money to write off on legals. But ok I’m totally wrong and you win the Internet points.

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

It’s a long way back but when they “saved us” they were carrying a load of debt to GR. Don’t pin me on it but I think it was £25m to him and a load to others. When they went into admin they had debts of (memory) £60m including that which they had put in themselves. After admin they wrote off...

Coincidentally I’m just listening to a Mark Hateley interview on “Open Goal”. Don’t know when it’s recorded but he’s wearing a cap indoors so maybe it’s just after he’s been to Turkey to get some stuck in. I also read Lee Sharpe’s book where he calls Hateley “Topper” - you know the type - if...

    Wasps signs have actually gone!!

I assumed something similar (but experts on here did their “you’re wrong ner ner ner” thing. ) SISU did a fair few quid of investor money in to start, moved it around so it looked like they hadn’t, put a bit more in and have been showing “returns on investment” on paper all the way through...
