Instead of grew up here or born here you could simply have from here? Asking someone where their from normally results in an answer of where they identify as home, rather than where they were born or currently live.

This is a good map for showing this http://www.free-postcode-maps.co.uk/ Only bit of the local area without a CV postcode is around East Warwickshire (Wolvey way) with a Leicester LE postcode  However I never knew such a large part of Leicestershire had our CV postcode :D

POLL: Would you attend a new stadium that was close to, but not in, Coventry.

The owner couldn't give a toss what you or I think. Straight from the Horses mouth "I only care about what my family and investors think". Silly daft mare.

POLL: Would you attend a new stadium that was close to, but not in, Coventry.

My view is its either in Coventry or its not. How can some parts of the city be more Coventry than others? Its like saying London is more England than Newcastle. I was wrong about 1932 anyway. Half of that area was 1899, the other half was 1928...

POLL: Would you attend a new stadium that was close to, but not in, Coventry.

It has to have been within the city for 100 years for it to be in Coventry then? Here's me born out in the sticks of Walsgrave thinking myself to be a proud Coventian yet you have now proven I am not from Coventry at all as Walsgrave hasn't been in Coventry for longer than 100 years.

There isn't outside the city within a reasonable distance either.

POLL: Would you attend a new stadium that was close to, but not in, Coventry.

That area has been within the city boundaries since 1932. Its as much Coventry as any of the city landmarks.

POLL: Would you attend a new stadium that was close to, but not in, Coventry.

3 pages so far and yet no one has been able to answer why a new ground needs to be outside the city?

POLL: Would you attend a new stadium that was close to, but not in, Coventry.

I wouldn't go. They've made no attempt to return to the city, and even if they did the council couldn't stop them. For that its a no.

    Shut it you slaaags

It doesn't have to be at FL/FA offices though does it? Surely its about publicity, and there are plenty of places in London where our message can be heard.

    Well done in advance

Think some are overestimating the amount the club will receive from this. 60k tickets at an average price of £30 is £1.8m. 45% of that is £810k. Then there are costs to deduct. Decent pay day but certainly not the £1m+ figures being thrown about here.

    Well done in advance

It would be a great opportunity to cause a bit of disruption (legally of course) around central London.

A team like Barnsley you mean?

    Well done in advance

You do realise though that the actual cash value to sisu of city fans attending is not much more than a normal game at sixfields? 9000 city fans, less share of match day costs, less 10% for the FA, less Arsenals 45%. So in answer to your question "Who will be supporting the club?" (I'm...

    Such a shame

Actual stats are Average 13/14 is 2427, average in 12/13 was 10948. 2427/10948 *100 = 22%. Using your Oldham figure of 3300 against the comparable game last season (Shrewsbury) its: 3300/15185 * 100 = 21.7% Neither are anywhere near the 30% figure your trying to state.

    Such a shame

The only people who generally use the phrase franchise are sixfields attendees, usually to try and discredit the boycotters. From what I've seen on here its very rare that a boycotter uses that word. Re the Oldham attendance, the comparable fixture last season (Shrewsbury) had 14k home...

If The Demand Was There ...

I wouldn't be going. Would I be expected to be grateful that Coventry city play in Coventry for one game? Either come back to the city permanently or piss off.

Do Sisu Realise What They Have?

Are they the same ones who say its pointless trying to force sisu out as no one better would buy us?
