Turns out I’ve been living with a pseudo Covid denier. Apparently not been as many deaths as is being made out. When I explained about the excess deaths and how that works, I was told “well that’s my opinion and I’m entitled to it”. My opinion is now that grass is orange.

As I’ve said, I’d be bringing in a starting striker to challenge Walker/Godden, and then have Max on a 1-year extension. He’s not been that bad for most of this season, will be cheap and gives Tavares time to see if he progresses sufficiently.

I’d rather, on the whole, we developed our own players than someone else’s. Fine with him plugging a gap this year although I would have played Giles more. We need a starting LWB of our own in the summer though. Also in agreement with shmmeee that he’s not good enough on the ball nor dynamic...

Mentioned in another thread but Max Clark, left back who’s spent the last 2 seasons at Vitesse and has just joined Hull on a contract until the end of the season. Would be free and seemingly did well over in Holland. Was being linked to some PL teams not long back.

Separate note but I’ve been having a look at players available in the summer (yes, I am that sad). One that’s of interest is Max Clark who’s recently joined Hull on a short term deal from Vitesse. Looks like he had a relatively fruitful time in Holland so not really sure how him leaving came...

Worth remembering we brought in a reported £3.5m for McCallum. Could have limited the damage. Besides, pretty much every club will be in a similar boat given what’s happening at the moment. Let’s see what happens.
