Honestly? No one specific. My point still stands though on why I think he's worth £20m. If you don't, that's cool.

With respect, you've no idea what I've taken into consideration! The guy is an international, has been involved in circa 30 goals last season in a competitive league, has strong attributes. Granted, he does only have 1yr left on his contract but decent strikers are hard to come by. To be fair...

I didn't say there was - I said it was my hope. Seeing some transfer fees from Championship clubs over the last couple of seasons, I'd say £20m is a fair price.

It's obviously not an ideal situation, is it? I'm sure MR will be pushing for a resolution ASAP as well as he'll be speaking to DK about the importance of getting things done as soon as they can. Forgetting how Viks sale is impacting potential 'ins', my point about is playing harder in...

The thing is with your track record, I now genuinely don't know whether to take your posts with a massive pinch of salt. If this one's a real one, we didn't really know Hamer, Gyo, O'Hare etc. I'm struggling to think of the last person we signed that was a 'decent' name as you say, that...

Vik's going to say it - he's trying to force a move. The ITKs have, well, a questionable record on being right (especially some of the more recent 'ITKs'...) and papers regurgitate what they see in cyberspace. It's hardly conclusive evidence. The truth is, we don't know the ins and outs. I...

And we should. His fee can assist with this clubs finances for a decent period and give MR the chance to spend some decent cash now and in January. If all these clubs are interested, we should be holding out and playing hard ball. For years we've been pushovers when it comes to selling players...

How's it Dougs fault? He's likely trying to get the best value for the club. The clubs might not be meeting a fair valuation. For years, and there's been numerous instances, we've all accused the powers that be of totally underselling our players (bar Borrowdale...Still not sure how we got a fee...

    Pre season has begun!

It is good to see Hamer still here and enjoying himself. Makes me think that a deal will be concluded that keeps him here.

No, I get that they have to act professionally FFS! The point still stands, if you don't want someone in the business and there's potential to get them out, get them out. Put them on garden leave. Delegate the work to someone else or take it on yourself until a replacement is in place.

The relationship can't be as bad as some are making out then. If I took over a business and there was someone I thought was sh!t at their job, I'd want them out of the door ASAP. What's the point in keeping them there? If they're not adding value and likely going to be creating negativity around...

Yeah that's fair enough then but you'd think they'd want DB out the door then, rather than having him work a notice period.

Well, rather than him sit on the office for 3 months on full pay, just say 'right, go now and I'll give you 2 mths wages' etc. Surely if King didn't like him/think he was good enough, he'd want him out the door ASAP and not hanging around a while?

On this Boddy thing that @GIMOC says - he's working his notice. If King didn't like him, he'd just put him on garden leave or pay him off. I can't see how, if either of them didn't get on with the other one, why Boddy would simply work his notice. Surely both would come to an agreement to leave...
