Every other march has passed off really peacefully. Why did it kick off yesterday? Because the likes of the Daily Mail and Suella Braverman whipped everyone up into a frenzy. Nearly all the arrests and trouble yesterday was from the far right mob who turned up looking for trouble.

All the violence is awful, but why are you only showing the one side? There were 300,000 on the march and I don't know how many EDL types. Guessing maybe hundreds, possibly a thousand? The vast majority of trouble and the vast majority of arrests were from the anti protestor group.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I gave my reasons and that was because my father had just died and though I heard that something had gone on, I didn't read anything about the actual incident itself until at least a couple of days later. 🤷

I haven't seen any footage, as I am on a train right now, but the police say they arrested more than 100 counter protestors. So that's the ejits who turned up looking for trouble.
