    Sky Blue Godiva

The small remaining part of the old city always looks beautiful on the TV. Its sad to think the whole town was once like that, and what a fine city centre we could now have had it not being destroyed. BTW you do realise that we have both just owned up to watching Antiques Road Trip?

    Breaking news: Stadium size increased

Just goes to show that they cant have made much progress on it yet then. Even with the lack of a land purchase, I would have expected the budget and financial plan for building this new stadium to have been in place by now (if they have any intention that is). To just suddenly say it will now...

    Sky Blue Godiva

Coventry just on BBC 1 (antiques road trip), showing Lady Godiva covered in her sky blue ribbons. Unfortunately no mention about the significance of the ribbons

Accounts - just a heads up

Question for osb: ML states in that article that "sisu have never taken any money out". But that's not exactly true is it? (interest charges)

    New Stadium financial viability.

But that would have meant two parties (Sisu and the Council) conspiring to damage a the business of a third party (Yorkshire Bank or ACL), and that according to Mark Labovitch is illegal. So how could Sisu have done this whilst staying on the right side of the law?

Tim Fishers vision for CCFC back in 2012!

In that case then, does he feel he has "managed" the club in a professional way and does he feel that he allegedly (alleged by himself) contravened good business practice: As a director of a limited company, the law says you must: make sure the company’s accounts are a ‘true and fair view’ of...

Tim Fishers vision for CCFC back in 2012!

"we need to carry out a full and detailed review starting now" I would like Mr Fisher to carry out a full and detailed review as to why under his leadership attendances are down from 15k to 2k. I would also like him to comment on how he feels this reflects his two years in charge at the club...

    CT interview with ACL chairman

My view is it can diversify massively, but only with a massive amount of investment. That investment is unlikely to come from the council, so I suppose it depends on whether at some point in the future they can find an investor.

    Wtf?

In fairness I've being getting a lot more heated on here as well later. Guess I've cracked.

SBT not wanted on Garlick forum

Is it normal for the main supporters group of a football club to not be allowed to put forward ideas for that clubs new ground?

    Summed up perfectly.

    Who Cares

The problem is I feel at the moment that even returning to the Ricoh won't change my feelings. It's not even an anti sisu thing, new owners wouldn't make a massive amount of difference to my apathy feelings. Unfortunately I think I've moved on, and the club would need to win me over...

    Who Cares

I know exactly how you feel. I've started to find other things to do on a Saturday afternoon that are far more enjoyable than sitting in the cold watching city lose. I've come to the conclusion that football is a disgusting sport that abuses the loyalty of fans in order to reward those least...

Boycott of Home Games v Lack of Squad Investment

I wasn't arguing against you samo. I understand the point your making.

Boycott of Home Games v Lack of Squad Investment

Unconfrontational is the word I would use.

Boycott of Home Games v Lack of Squad Investment

Yes, because it would really rub your nose in it. It would be like your misses running off with another bloke and then winning the lottery.

Boycott of Home Games v Lack of Squad Investment

I'm sure they only want to support the team, but everyone's actions has consequences. Theirs is they are supporting the concept of CCFC playing there. This whole thread was about boycotters are damaging the team. Which I accept they are. However I'm starting to get a little pissed off with...

Boycott of Home Games v Lack of Squad Investment

I've highlighted the important bit for you. I would think that all would turn their backs on the club if this turned out to be a permanent move.

Boycott of Home Games v Lack of Squad Investment

Once again you twisted my words. Are you Peter Mandelson?

Boycott of Home Games v Lack of Squad Investment

Please retract that lie or back up your words little man. As for saying I should be banned, is that how you treat people with a different opinion to yourself? This is still a free country, and I am a Coventry City fan on a Coventry City forum, and my opinion is just as valid as the yours or...
