Yes. They are using Semi Automated VAR, i.e. not relying on someone just having a guess when a ball is kicked & where to draw a line whilst using a 50fps camera.

True, but incredibly rare & getting even rarer. There were 62 on field reviews in the PL last season. I think there were only 3 where they rejected the VAR & stuck with their original decision.
