It's also worth pointing out that Ashley secured a period of exclusivity by paying 1.2 million of his own money to keep the Arena operating during the admin process, this enabled CCFC to fulfil the home fixtures amongst other things. I didn't see Sisu, Dawkins or king offering such monies...

Dawkins was squeeling like a pig because he got no response from the administrator and wasn't allowed to forward a bid or even have a conversation. But clearly he doesn't understand what a period of exclusivity means. I'd worry about him being involved if that's the case.

He hasn't paid anything as yet, he's just reached an agreement. (That's my understanding) My guess is the agreement "could" depend on him securing the Arena. If he fails to secure the Arena then all bets may be off.

It means he's got the readies and doesn't need to mortgage the Arena, which means future income won't be used to service debt. Which means more of the business income could be re-invested in CCFC should he manage to unite the club and the Arena under the same business.
