Much rather that than just sign any old player who doesn't fit our philosophy though. We've seen how that works out both here & at countless other clubs.
Big day today, so thought I'd throw in something a little more light-hearted.
Made me chuckle but not sure Spurs bigwigs will see it the same way & think somebody at Dulux maybe seeking alternative employment!
To an extent but even that threat waned as he's very one dimensional - knock it ahead & use his pace. If you know what he's going to do it becomes easier to defend & he became less & less effective & you could see it visibly affect his confidence to take a man on. He's never managed to pin down...
Because none of the teams down the bottom (including us) are good enough to go on a run of wins. Rotherham "picking up points" is based off of 1 single result too. They're below us for PPG & no better in the form tables.
Agreed, was a strange one. McCallum definitely helped us though, far superior to Giles. Ironically, despite demanding to leave for more opportunities, Giles has barely got any more minutes at Rotherham than he would have by staying with us.
Nope, very true. I'm hoping there will be a study at the end of this season on penalty conversion with no crowds. I bet this year has bucked the trend a little.
He actually started the game, he's just one of those strikers who does nothing for over an hour but took his goals well. Should actually have had a hat-trick.
Injury not serious & fine for Thursday according to local media.
