It's not so much it being woeful but you're only 1 injury away from a very weak midfield. No Sheaf, no control at all. But Torp, Eccles and Rudoni won't 'boss' a midfield and take the game to the oppo, we need someone in the Hamer mold who will do that. We need energy and someone to drive at...

I disagree, our midfield is not "good to go". We are short in that area and have been for a while.

Alfie Devine would be an odd one, he's an attacking midfielder. I don't see us needing someone there, especially when there is a hole to be filled further back on the pitch, maybe even 2!
