    Wright and Simms

Wow, that would be exhausting. What if they both have games on the same night?

Torp just seems that he can play a number of roles. Happy coming back to defend and pick the ball up outside our own penalty area, but definitely a box to box player too. I think a Torp/Eccles combination could work pretty well.

If the club are aware of this, do we think Torp may have been brought in as Sheaf's replacement? Not quite the same sort of player, but I could see Torp being able to do Sheaf's job. Would prefer them both of course.

    Robins celebration

Okay, so it wasn't very professional, but if you give it the big un, you can surely expect something in return. It shouldn't make you immune to some comeback. And he was 13, not a little 7 year old.

    Mark Robins

I thought he was supposed to be a bit tactically unaware and too rigid in his thinking and substitutions and falls out with players and there is trouble in the camp. 🤔 Oh, where is Ann Proctor-Brown these days? And how much longer is that taxi going to be?

    Robins celebration

That was really embarrassing. You could almost see the cogs going around in his brain. "Shall I pretend I am injured, or should I just milk falling on the ball for a bit?"

    Clive Eakin

No, he's definitely not the most accurate, but he's an institution now, so you just gotta to love Clove.

I did and have a number of times. Listened to that at least 3 times now and it's brought a tear to my eye every single time.

    FA Cup Semi Final Draw

I think we have a glimmer of a chance against Man U and Chelsea and zero chance against Liverpool or Man City. Leicester, we would have a very decent chance.

Yes, very true. Never thought about it at the time, but there was a lot less of there being outmuscled and physically bullied out of the game.

What is Diddly Squash? Some kind of dodgy concentrated soft drink?

    VAR

Nope. Just make it so it is clear and obvious. Not clear and obvious, go with the on-field decision. They are making it so much more complicated than it ever needs to be. That 5 mins today was ridiculous. Give it 20 seconds. Can't see anything obviously wrong with the refs decision, go with...

Match Thread Wolverhampton Wanderers - Coventry City [FA] Match Thread - Saturday 16th Mar

No, not strange at all and most certainly not my first thought. It was about my 7th or 8th after jubilation, relief, pride, that if feeling overwhelmed, taking it all in, thinking MR got it absolutely spot on and how well everyone played etc. After that I then thought back to your ridiculous...

    Josh Eccles

I don't know why some have seen him as a weak link. He's very decent. His passing is good, he can tackle, has a decent engine and shows a bit of intelligence in his play too. I really rate him.
  19. Otis

    VAR

Definitely On the supposed "handball" they were desperately looking for a handball they couldn't possibly see. That's what makes it ridiculous. It's the people where the problem lies, not the system.
  20. Otis

    VAR

I still like it. It's the way they administer it. How on earth they were supposed to unravel that today, God knows. Was never going to happen. All it needed was a 20 seconds look and a decision made that there was nothing obvious and no obvious error, it should have just stayed with the onfield...
