    season ticket sales

Without knowing past trends on ticket sales its hard to say if this is particularly good or not. I'd imagine after the end of early bird we will sell no more than a few hundred

    Brainstorm

Personally I wouldn't attend a Wasps game, even as a protest. Perhaps a better idea would be to congregate around the Jimmy Hill statue before/during a Wasps game and hold some form of protest there whilst Wasps are playing?

    Trust statement regarding the AHC

Things like coaching time aren't an issue as such as the requirements are minimum, there's nothing to stop the club putting in the same amount of coaching hours into the players as they do now to meet cat 2 status. Thats the point he's making, all the requirements are minimum so there's nothing...

    Curve Balls / 1001 ideas

If we lose cat 2 I think we may as well abandon it, put the money into scouting and pluck the best 17 year olds from other academies for our development team. You would probably have to set it up separate to the manager so each managerial change wouldn't affect it and have limited input.

    Chris Anderson

Something like that would be the best course of action I think, the way it's playing out at the moment there is nothing to stop wasps shafting us on the Ricoh deal if legals are dropped. Continue to negotiate, get a deal everyone is happy with, if they can do that then draw up the contracts...

    Chris Anderson

He hasn't done anything wrong but I think you are right about him walking away. Think he's starting to realise he's chasing a lost cause.

    CCC end game

Our whole future was on the line the moment wasps acquired the Ricoh 2 years ago, I feared it at the time and now crunch time is coming. The next 3 years will either be the tuning point or the end, at the moment I can't see anything but the end.

    CCC end game

I think CCC end game is to have wasps thriving by any means possible and to have coventry become known and recognised as a city of rugby

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

Obviously we need to have more than one option so no surprise he was talking it up. It is an interesting question, with talk of a 20-25 year Ricoh deal yesterday before talks broke down is the Ricoh or Butts Anderson's first choice

I'd personally have Butts as first choice but that is a definite no go at the moment, council won't allow it to happen.

Coventry City managing director says it's 'difficult' not to feel club being forced out of Academy

Think we all hope they will leave, the person taking would have to be a complete headcase now though in the state the club is in. Think the only people mad enough to take over the club would be the fans, maybe its something the trust could look into.

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

Don't think its his fault, he has no control over the legal action. Think he's just walked into an absolute cluster fuck. Its only went tits up as he has tried to get things done and found obstacles around every corner for reasons that are not his fault. I imagine if he wasn't here then the...

Coventry City managing director says it's 'difficult' not to feel club being forced out of Academy

To an extent you are right, but that's done now. Right now pretty much everyone is refusing to even talk the football club, I'm guessing you think the club are getting there comeuppance because of SISU with everyone refusing to deal with the club but that attitudes not going to help anyone.

    Tony Mowbray stays!

Wonder what Mowbray makes of the shit flinging fest from the last few days.

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

None, they've described it as background noise and a distraction and none of there business. i.e it isn't a major issue for negotiations. Now who else are friendly with Wasps and would benefit from the dropping of the JR?

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

Maybe one is lying but its possible between the two they are telling something close to the truth. I doubt they got as far details and specifics and concrete agreements in place for any of the points. But its possible that in initial discussions they've looked at what is proposed and said yep...

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

The worrying thing is, does anyone actually expect SISU to back down after this latest threat. I suspect SISU will explore every legal option available to them before cutting there losses so aren't going to care what this mean for us over the next 50 years and Anderson himself can do f all about...

'We felt it was difficult to conclude on a long-term arrangement' - Wasps pull out of Ricoh Arena ta

I doubt Wasps are worried about that, he describes it as background noise.
