    Racism on Saturday?

I suspect his friends and family were sat amongst the away fans. That must be awkward as a parent of a player. I remember Lameiras getting a right mouthful once from someone sat in the seat next to his mum.

Match Thread Bolton Wanderers vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 10th Aug

Tickets need to go on sale tomorrow morning at the latest to Bolton fans. Postage deadline will be Wednesday I'd have thought, so you'd potentially be looking at thousands collecting on the day and/or large numbers paying cash on the gate. There is print at home I suppose, but it all seems a...

Match Thread Bolton Wanderers vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 10th Aug

Are you sure? Nothing on their main website and the ticketing site lists no events.

    Vodafone & Hummel

I think it was part of the deal that never happened (the original 5 year proposal that was on the table last season) that there would be a retail unit opened up for CCFC. It wouldn't be in the current unit, it would be elsewhere in the complex. That's not to say I buy the idea that the retail...

    St Andrews

I don't get why people see a football ground being in a run down area as a negative. Couldn't care less myself. All part of the charm. I'd go back to HR and Hillfields in a heartbeat. If I think of my favourite grounds, Fratton Park, Brammall Lane, Goodison Park et al, they're not exactly...

    Transfer Rumour Matt Godden

Yeah, we pressed high for 60 minutes. They barely got out of their half. It was a warm day and it took its toll in the end.

    Transfer Rumour Matt Godden

There were times last season, long before Bright came in, when we were creating chances for fun.

    ifollow 2019/20

I don't get the overzealous approach. Ultimately, it generates money for the EFL and clubs, and since ifollow was launched, attendances in L1 and L2 have increased. All seems a bit self-defeating.

The popular VPNs won't have an infinite number of ip addresses. They will be reused and will go onto a blacklist once identified.

    Bolton tickets

Being selfish about it, it would be an ideal time to play them. Looking at the stats yesterday, despite only losing 2-0, Wycombe had 25 attempts. Bolton had 3, none on target and no corners. As close to a nailed on 3 points as you're going to get. A selfish view yes, but think Bolton will come...

    Bolton tickets

Good question, not sure on that. I suspect Bolton would be keen to postpone the game though while they try to build a side. There's no incentive to play the game, because the EFL, using Bury as an example, are not awarding points to the opposition for the cancelled fixtures. I'm sure Bolton will...

    Tyler Walker deal done???

If we were to get 10K regularly this season it wouldn't mean it removes the incentive to return to Coventry, because those gates would not be sustained for very long. There are many people, like myself, who have made the decision to back the club this season. The moment that it appears the club...

St Andrew's parking, busses, trains, food & boozing

Music was playing, but most people were outside anyway. Didn't mind it myself. Not sure they'll do it every week though.

    Bolton tickets

The only way this goes ahead is if the takeover goes through tomorrow and tickets are put on sale immediately. If not, I cannot see how it can. I can't see how they can make it cash on the turnstiles for everyone. The SAG would not allow that. Pretty sure this will be postponed, but hope I'm wrong.

    Bolton tickets

They had to buy tickets online direct from Wycombe, no tickets on sale from Bolton.

St Andrew's parking, busses, trains, food & boozing

Didn't myself, but was in there early and saw the landlord walk about 8 people to the bar and say these people are to get a free drink. It looked like they arrived in a minibus. I guess there wasn't the interest, and given how busy the place was, it doesn't look like they'll need to do it in...

    St Andrews

The whole block 36/37 issue was farcical though. Telling season ticket holders they couldn't sit in their own seats forcing people to stand in gangways was a nonsense. Hopefully this will be sorted.

    St Andrews

Yeah, goood matchday experience. Like you say, proper football ground and nice to have a decent pint pre match and not a pint of piss in a plastic glass in a casino. Before people pile on though, of course I would MUCH rather be playing in Coventry, regardless of how shit the experience is...

Match Thread Coventry City v Southend

Special mention for Shipley. He rarely gets the plaudits, but the amount of ground he covered was unreal. Not surprised he tired. Mason my MOTM though, outstanding today.

The Roost was great. Decent beer. No plastic glasses. Decent food and staff really friendly. Was busy too, beer garden rammed at one stage.
