    Championship thread 24/25!

3 teams closely below us in the table, playing tonight. We're defo going to go down 1 place tonight but could go back to 6th tomorrow with a win at home vs Preston and WBA losing at home to Oxford - or drawing to be fair. Unlikely though. Still expect us to be 7th tomorrow.

    Championship thread 24/25!

Not questioning you on this but have you got a link or can you shed any further info on this? The losing money by hosting games bit, not the licence/lease bit.

    Good article that.

What a golfer she was. Great commentator as well.

Spotting fellow Cov fans in the wild

Here was me thinking a gym in Havant or Tescos in Exeter were decent shouts and I see all of the slightly more 'exotic' places listed on this thread. We're everywhere by the looks of it.

Colour me shocked. You can just call him a taxi for circa 5.30pm. For old times sake.

Players evening Bedworth Nuneaton supporters club

I've heard quite a few interesting stories about Evans from a few people within the game. Saw him in a pub years ago when he was Crawley manager, night before a game and he was pretty smashed.

Right, I didn't see Blunteds post so apologies. My point kind of stands though...you're making out that it's a general consensus thing when it's not.

    Cov v Stoke

FFS, no one is saying he’s going to go round the pitch for an ovation at the end of the game, win, lose or draw. Quite a few are saying that it would be nice to recognise his achievements and time here, with a decent round of applause before the game. Then it’s all Cov. I don’t know why you’re...

    No...no one's saying that.

    The clap, probably not.

He left after getting the sack (which was the right decision). But after everything he did for the club, don't you think it would be nice to at least give him a good round of applause as a thank you?

Ha ha, I wasn't! Nick mentioned it...I couldn't think of anything worse.

    Cov v Stoke

I don't get to go to games much so have to pick and choose and this is one where an ex manager of ours who is arguably one of of best ever, is back for the first time. It's hardly a stretch to see why its a good fixture for some to go to. Half and half scarves...sure. I don't get why you're...

    Cov v Stoke

I think he'll get a massive round of applause when he comes out of the tunnel. After the game when we've whooped them 4-0, I doubt he'd do himself any favours with the Stoke lot, going out onto the pitch for a round of applause from the crowd.

Fucking hell mate, give it a rest. I know he hasn't died FFS. All I've said is I'd like to be part of showing gratitude to someone who almost single handedly turned our club around over the course of 7 years. Stop with all this crap insinuating that everyone is whacking off over MR still...

    Pato

I'd say it's a bit greyer than that to be fair. I could watch Leeds vs Sunderland tonight, doesn't mean I'm a fan of either club. Having a vested interest in say, Rangers, like I do, I feel more when they lose than any other club (outside of Cov obviously).

Surely expected assists are more pointless than actual assists?
