    Gilbert's Book

I am looking forward to reading it. Will be an interesting insight. Really don't get why everybody is knocking it without even reading it It's about the one thing we are all supposed to have in common on here and it might help promote our plight. Get a grip the lot of you !!!!

Match Thread Gillingham v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 24th Sep

So, it's Saturday morning and my last day in Cyprus. Heading home tomorrow. After all the weeks doom and gloom I have woken up with my "Skyblue positive head" on and looking forward to listening to the match on Skyblue player. Just praying that Geoff Foster will not be commentating. Think we...

Sorry to be pedantic but they are actually " a load of crooks from USA" not London.

    Selling the training ground

I think all the latest issues, Ryton, Higgs Centre and the Ricoh debacle all add up to one thing ..... Wasps will buy/takeover CCFC in the next year.

    Ryton

I think you will find that Ryton is mortgaged up to the hilt. Whatever it could be sold for will only produce a small net return.

Match Thread Gillingham v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 24th Sep

As of this moment in time I don't give a monkeys. Hopefully the apathy will have turned into some interest by the weekend.

    Our gates

I agree with all the above but would add that the most important issue is I don't see it improving. Watching football is about "hope" and "belief", "getting promotion"' , "going on a cup run". Does anybody believe that will happen anytime soon, if ever again.

    Luciano Becchio on trial

How can you be a professional sportsman looking for a contract and not last an hour in an U23 match. If I was in his situation I would have spent the whole summer maintaining my fitness. I appreciate "match fitness" is different to "general fitness" but **** me it's his livelihood.

Fair point but they will all turn out to be journeyman at best. Who in this squad will make a future championship team during their career. RCC maybe, JJ if he bulks up and stays fit.

    Our gates

I would consider myself hardcore but asking myself "what's the point". Lots of other ways to spend a Saturday afternoon without the frustration and hassle involved. I hope Mr Fisher reads this and takes note. Somehow I doubt it !!!

    Our gates

It's not a case of being fickle for me. It's a case of getting some form of entertainment on a Saturday afternoon or Tuesday night after a 4 hour round trip and all the cost involved. I can go and watch Rotherham or Sheffield Wednesday or Donny Rovers for free with a three course meal if I want...

    Our gates

I missed Saturday game due to being on holiday. Listened to Geoff Foster commentating ( I use the word loosely) on Skyblueplayer I can honestly say I was glad I wasn't there. The three home games plus Bradford away were all dire that I have watched this season. The only time I have been...

    Steve Evans

His style is to divide up a dressing room. Divide and conquer.
