Looks to me as if reporters went fishing for a story/scandal. Allardyce didn't really give them much to go in and so they are sensationalising a couple of quotes.

As I posted in another thread, I don't like how the telegraph spin it as Reda refusing to sign the petition which is a blatant lie. A desperate attempt to turn Coventry fans against Reda because he criticised the telegraph.

The more I read, the more it looks like a mountain out of a molehill. Media are loving it, talksport coming down hard on Allardyce and pushing for his sacking. I'll be massively disappointed if he is sacked, not because I think he is a great manager but its starting to feel like a media witch hunt.

The ball was going wide and then it took a bizarre bounce and spun inside the post. Thats why he didn't dive, because it was going wide and then the ball changed direction late on. If you want to blame him for that, then go ahead but it wasn't to do with positioning.
