The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

I'm not sure whether your last comment is a pissstake or not?

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

A vote leave is a vote for democracy. To have unelected Brussels politicians that you have voted for and can't remove that affect daily life in the UK is bizarre that people still want this and it's certainly not democratic. Calling farage a racist is interesting as 4 million people including...

    But quite possibly also

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Exactly. Got a feeling we will remain now. Seems things have changed not sure why. We will not just survive outside the eu but we will thrive. We are a square peg in a round hole in the eu. Not part of the euro zone or shengen. Not really sure why we are there.

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Quite right to. It's not politicians who make business and trade and decisions it's us the electorate. Heck even the queen gets a vote but it's just the same as mine.

Oh and she was never in the leave campaign let's just clear that up.

Best of it was the poster was actually correct. It says "the eu has failed us" This is a referendum on our eu membership so it is relevant and correct. Obviously the poster is racist and vile as that's what they do. Anything that reflects the truth is racist or sexist or whatever. Such a...

    BPA Update

That's still 800k which is almost half a million less than before. It isn't going to stay at 100k forever I agree. We could be valuable to their investors is what I'm saying. Not that I want to be valuable to their investors by the way I just want to watch my team in my home city in 2 years time.

That's the problem in a nut shell. Wasps hold all the cards and we don't have a pot to piss in.

    BPA Update

Well is it 1.4%? When we attract more fans than they do. I haven't got a clue if I'm honest but I will go with it. I'm guessing that's if our rent stays at 100k per season which I doubt it will be. Sure more rent means we are more useful to them in their eyes.

    BPA Update

Yeah I think ask most fans where realistically we will be playing in 2 years time and most will say the Ricoh. I mean don't get me wrong I don't like the fact wasps own the stadium and have even put the negotiations on hold but my point is seriously what other options do we have. Torch...

    BPA Update

Exactly. In 2 years time so realistically it would have to be planned and decided way before 2 years so this time next year something will need to be sorted. Is that really enough time to get a new ground share or erect stands at the butts? Erected stands will look like the Solihull moors. So...
  16. K

    BPA Update

Yes we are there now and the Ricoh is already built and in Cov. It's obvious we need to stay there even if it's on another 4 year deal say whilst we build or whatever. Didn't I read last week we were talking a 20-25 year deal with wasps before negotiations halted by wasps? If true then what's...

    BPA Update

But your other option of either develop the butts or a new stadium aren't options in my eyes. Both require money and time and co operation and lots of it. And we have none of this. So please explain and convince me butts or a new stadium is a realistic option?

    BPA Update

Also says ccc do agree and say yes then who pays for it? How long would it take? I know a long shot but what if wasps go bust in 6 years time and the Ricoh becomes available? Like you say 25k seater stadium would never fit so perhaps 15k max? Traffic and planning? So whilst it's great in...

    BPA Update

Also ccc hold the freehold again so anything has to go through them. They have already blocked it to an extent so I would of thought this is the biggest hurdle not parking.

Arguments against Coventry as a 'City of Rugby'

Oh I know. One conversation I had recently starting with me: "Did you watch the football at the weekend?" "No I go to the rugby" "Oh that sport when you hold a funny shaped ball and run at someone, you know that really skillful game" "Well at least we don't dive around and pretend we are...
