    A Clean Slate?

It seems that maybe Sisu are on the way out. If this isn't the case and they are determined to hang on to the bitter end, then I would sooner start again. As Graham Hawley said very well on Friday's phone in, this is our club, not Sisu's. They may have the legal ownership but they will never own...

    Terry Gibson

Agree about the first two seasons, but that was simply because he wasn't being used in the right way. As soon as Sillett took over and they played the ball into his feet he was transformed. Cyrillie was a Rolls Royce of a player, pure class and latent power in everything he did. He was never a...

    Terry Gibson

Cyrille might have been a bit "washed out" when he first joined us but he certainly wasn't washed up as his later form proved. He would just edge out Fergie in my all time best City team and would partner Ian Wallace up front. Gibson was a good player, a good goal scorer but not good enough to...

    Happy Birthday Hutch

My favourite player too. An absolute genius who if he had played with a more "fashionable" club would have been recognised as such by the wider football community, not just the local one. It was worth the admission money just to watch him play.

    Back to the future

Outcome doesn't have to be the same if this time we stick with the manager and give him time to turn it around. Just like Bigi seems to have done so will Mowbray if he is allowed.

    Sky blue or yellow?

At least for them it was a fairly quick "death" allowing them to start the resurrection process. Sisu are showing no signs of going and we are like an ailing patient slowly dying with few signs of recovery. If there is an end point to all of this, I wish it would come so that we could start to...

    Heres the plan...

Geoff Foster is a long time City fan, started watching in the 60s.Also still recovering from a stroke which does seem to have affected his speech a little. Not a reason for employing him but I am sure he cares a lot more about our club than someone employed out of the city. I would sooner see...

Cov utd to play at Butts next season

That's another reason why Wasps shouldn't be here. Our own rugby club has a great history and were the premier rugby club in the 60s and early 70s. Now a club with no connection to our city are seen as the main team. I am amazed at how many people I know are now Wasps fans. Very sad.

    Gary Hoffman

He may be way off on his info about Ben Turner, but the idea that we are a club in a massive amount of trouble, which is his main point is ignored, it seems to me to make fun of him. I could go over all of Sisu's wrongs again but I won't. I read more than I post on here and it really does seem...

    Gary Hoffman

That was me. I work I Chelmsley Wood with a cousin of Ben Turner. She is sometimes a little behind the times as it was me who told her last season that he was coming back on loan. However, I kept asking her over the summer was there any sign of him coming back here and she didn't know...

    Recruitment screwed up

[ Where is your source of info for all of the budgets for all of the clubs in League 1? I have never seen a list of these and I think a lot of people use guess work and supposition to support their argument rather than facts they can prove.

    Recruitment screwed up

Not necessarily disagreeing but Wright did one or two good things in his 15 minutes at Fleetwood. One really strong run into their box springs to mind.

    Tony Mowbray

How do you know he is poor coach?

    Tony Mowbray

I agree with some of what you say. Certainly the wing backs at the moment don't seem to be an improvement on DKE and Haynes, particularly attacking wise. Early days yet and this could change. It could be that these two were well down the list of players that TM was hoping to bring in. That in...

How man at managers have thrived under SISU

Was Jim Blyth here then? I thought Oggy was goalkeeper coach by that time.

How man at managers have thrived under SISU

I never understood why Pressley said the freezing out of Carl Baker and the decision to let Richard Wood and Joe Murphy leave were footballing decisions, ie nothing to do with their salary. It was almost as though he was taking the flack away from Sisu and on to himself. I really can't believe...

    Tony Mowbray

So we lose the next two games TM is sacked. Who do we bring in and how will this new person succeed where every other manager we have had since relegation from the PL has failed? Why would this one be different, particularly as he is inheriting TM's squad at least until January and possibly to...

    Tony Mowbray

I just don't get posts like this. How do you know? Do you work at the club? The probability is that you are guessing. Oggy could be fantastic. He could be terrible. If you don't know how can you say this decision or that decision needs to be made?

    Tony Mowbray

Thorn was replaced by Mark Robbins. He was sacked after the first 3 games of the season which were all drawn. Pressley did not save us from relegation. You might have a point with Mowbray taking over from SP. All the more reason to keep him.

Match Thread Fleetwood v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 3rd Sep

Not saying return to 4-4-2 as when we changed to this against Northampton last week they definitely came more into the game. The problem for me yesterday was that both wing backs either couldn't or wouldn't run with the ball to the goal line. Countless times they received the ball mid way in...
