But why are we going for championship players when we can't offer them good wages to even some teams in our division? We have to hope these championship players either don't get a championship club and then drop down a league and don't go to a Bradford or Sheffield United? Seems unrealistic to me

On and off over the last few years. Not in major depth admittedly but I have seen enough of him. He is a decent player but never hit the heights he promised and now he is a league 1 squad player at best.

Good luck with that. He isn't ready. Didn't exactly light the world up here did he. Would he even play championship? He didn't here in league 1.
