Cov utd to play at Butts next season

Other than the golden share what is there to buy? I think SISU may just walk away at the end of next season, I can see no evidence of them being interested in football at present. The golden share is a right to play league football, I think they could transfer that to football people in the city...

Cov utd to play at Butts next season

It is interesting. Don't bet against Coventry United picking up the golden share one day.

Sport England green light for wasps training base at Higgs

Totally agree. For me I think that means a brand new professional football club in Coventry, Coventry United? CCFC is toxic, anyone interested in buying the club would have to do business with SISU which Is not exactly an appealing prospect. On a relatively low budget a semi professional...

It's worse than you can inagine

Don't dismiss out of hand what Juggy said yesterday. I don't know Juggy personally but have good reason to believe that TM could well have said what Is claimed.

    The Budget

Look at the fall off in our season ticket holder numbers since 2010/11. More evidence (if were needed) that SISU are killing the club.

    Searingly honest, that's TM.

Wasps receive approval to build at Higgs centre

And the evidence that SISU are serious about moving CCFC forward is? You can call me what you like but SISU are not interested anymore.

Wasps receive approval to build at Higgs centre

Exactly they have no intention of having an Academy. SISU know their race is run. Moving ticketing and parking to third parties. Making noises about transferring the golden share and player registrations in 2 to 3 years.

Have I missed an academy update?

I think the Anderson no show is another sign that SISU may be ready to walk away sooner than we think.

    A sad state of affairs...

Possibly not. I'm coming to the conclusion that Coventry's premier football club may not be CCFC in 10 years time. It may just be say Coventry United. I know nothing about Coventry United but as CCFC and its loyal but dwindling supporter base continue to be used as bait in SISU's continuing...

Mowbray Front runner for Rotherham Job

You're not. It just that I don't believe a new stadium will ever happen under our current owners. And Mowbray probably knows this too and to bring us back to this thread that's why he's looking to go.

Mowbray Front runner for Rotherham Job

But surely you can appreciate the sooner we have our own stadium the sooner we can get our hands on 100% of stadium related revenues?

Mowbray Front runner for Rotherham Job

Presumably you are you trying to draw a parallel with our position here? Rotherham moved out of Millmoor and were playing at their new stadium within four years. We first moved out of the Ricoh three years ago and will be playing at our stadium in ??

Mowbray Front runner for Rotherham Job

And they're a well run, stable club, with an owner who really cares about the football club.

    Serious question

Agree with much of this. Selling or bailing out crystallises SISU's loss on CCFC. While SISU can kept their investment in CCFC surrounded by legal actions it avoids the need for a write down. And chuck out a few stories such as the Butts from time to time to pass off as strategy/help get the...

Another nice positive article in the CT

Anderson did say this and results went into free fall.

    So the real Poll

I would love our focus to be on developing a new stadium but until SISU go this will never be the case.
  18. S

Poll :Should SISU continue with litigation?

No. But the owners will continue because it delays the day they exit and crystallise the loss on their investment in CCFC.
