I guarantee you Guardiola will prepare them intensely on the training pitch before they ever play those positions in a match.

My point is MR was just throwing stuff at the wall to see what stuck. Little preparation or prior thought behind it. Not a very good way to manage a team.

I’m gonna call it now. Lampard announced on Thursday/Friday. He’ll get a presentation on the pitch before the Sheff Utd game (live on Sky 😉). Will only officially take charge on 27/28th (after Burnley away). Gets a few days with the players before what really should be a gimme at home to Cardiff.
