Hope FL gets the tactics right and the players don’t let him and us down. I’m honestly much less nervous than last Thursday and think the weight of expectation last week got the better of the team. Time to turn the tables on them.

Sheffield Utd- Bristol City 2nd leg play offs

Well they made the playoffs after a 17 year hiatus. We've had pitch invasions to celebrate staying up and avoid relegation.

Sheffield Utd- Bristol City 2nd leg play offs

Last time we made it all the way via the playoffs, we beat 2 teams in striped shirts. One black and white and the other red and white. Let's beat 2 red and white striped teams this time.

If we can come from 3-0 down against Man U with less than 20 mins remaining then Bristol C need to think they can beat Sheff Utd. Same for us tomorrow.

He's still there huh? Scored an absolute worldie for us at Wembley. Great memories.

None of the home sides have won their first leg ties thus far. Doesn't bode well for Charlton, but they could buck the trend.

Good catch. Forgot about him. Good luck to him as well.

    Godden and Fadz

Good luck to them and their teams in the playoffs today. Served us well during their time with Cov.

Although Rudoni’s goal was great, it took so much effort just to get 1 cross on target.Ballard, Jobe and whoever they could pack their box with were heading crosses away with ease and 09 would always conveniently fall over to get a free kick at other times. We need to also work the ball on the...

    Callum O'Hare

Since he left on a free it honestly makes no difference to us. Not like there’s a sell-on clause anyway. However, I think Southampton had registered some serious interest in him at some point and Burnley had shown some interest in the past. Both were lower level Premier League teams at that...

I do watch the games but wonder if you read my entire initial post or my clarification to Mucca later as well.

Wright did score an absolute bullet header versus Oxford at home. Wonder where that version of him is.

    Callum O'Hare

Do not recall exact details but I think it was something along the lines of not receiving a new contract and not getting playing opportunities although his mind was made up to leave for a Premier League team anyway. Think Robins and DK made attempts to keep him, but obviously failed. If he’d...

    Eccles

I think Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford all eventually went up to the EPL after coming close via the playoffs on multiple occasions. They sold their best players, reinvested the money, developed stronger and more balanced squads over time. We have to have that similar vision and forward...

    Callum O'Hare

I think the manner in which he left is why people hate him (ie the crap he spouted about us after he left and the way he made it seem we denied him opportunities to play following his ACL injury when there were legitimate reasons why he wasn’t playing). Add to that his ego seemed to grow larger...

Yes, I did say to shoot within range and pounce on rebounds. Their goalie Patterson is a little suspect (not Collins bad, but he's susceptible to errors).

Might go with Allen instead of Sheaf, but otherwise will agree.

I said to mix things up and not overly rely on crosses alone if you read my entire post. We did score from a cross and header, but that was after so many crosses were thwarted. Why not diversify our mode of attack instead of being so predictable?
