    Could not be better

That’s a little harsh. The depth for the defence, CMs and strikers is good. We’re just thin on the ground in relation to the creators; wingers and no AM to come in when there’s injuries will cost us points. The defence looked disjointed and upon reflection, that’s probably down to changing 3/4...

    Kieffer Moore

Beau probably needs to adapt to the Championship and probably England as whole, it is slightly odd that Bidwell seemed to be 3rd choice on Day 1. Perhaps he’s struggling to settle in? It’ll all play out in time, I’m confident he’ll turn good.

    Awfull tactics from lampard

I suppose they do have v similar functions and whilst he’s a good stand in, the balance isn’t there imo. Torp works well with Grimes because he’s more creative and carries a significant long shooting threat. Allen is good at winning any loose or second ball because he’s got more energy than the...

    Awfull tactics from lampard

Not until Rudoni is back. If anything, we seen how placid our attack was after we took the 2 strikers for more midfielders. We also ended up conceding more goals. I’m reasonably sure we’d have played 3-4-3 had Thomas been fit and available. Squad depth caught up us imo.

Who the fuck plays CB on Tuesday

Lati will be a lot more rusty than Wolf… Changing 3 of 4 defenders is never a good idea but seems like Lampard was forced into 2 of those changes, perhaps a 3rd with JDS being ill in the week. My observations: - Bidwell seems past it - lack of chemistry between KKH-Wolf and Wolf-Kitching

    Kieffer Moore

You’re Keiffer Moore and you go can go Wrexham to be top dog or Cov’s Plan B… Who do you choose? Pretty sure Wrexham pay more than us too. BTA, Haji and Simms have 19 goals between them, not signing Moore or Morris is not worth crying over.

Half of you lot are pathetic

How else do you set up the team? To outline a couple of assumptions that Lati, Eccles and Torp probably not ready to play 90m. Assuming that’s right, we couldn’t play 3 ATB and Grimes-Allen in midfield. There’s also no Rudoni. The squad is thin and it’s caught up with us. We can’t change...

    Awfull tactics from lampard

It’s probably the case the Torp and Eccles might not be 100% ready to play a full 90… Allen also scored at the weekend so didn’t deserve to be dropped. That all said, I’m not a huge fan of Allen and Grimes playing together.

Match Thread Wrexham AFC - Coventry City Match Thread - Friday 31st Oct

It’s strong defensively, but there’s not attacking options to change a game when trailing a game. Eccles, Torp, Simms and JDS are all good players but Eccles and JDS aren’t players who are going to go out and win a game through great attacking play. For a more complete squad, you need to be...

How crap is CCFC Ticket ?

No, but what King has introduced for the FZ should probably be stadium wide. If you can’t make a game, all you have to do is to put it on the ticket exchange, it doesn’t even need to sold. A ST gives you first dibs on the seat and at a cheaper rate so if you can’t go, it should be an...

How crap is CCFC Ticket ?

From the club’s perspective, they want a full stadium and if the demand is there, the club ought to incentivise STHs to put the ticket up on the Exchange. Particularly now there’s a waiting list for STs, the club should ensure fans are actually attending games. At Man U, if you miss 3 games...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Bit of crackpot video but the sentiment shows that Labour is on course to suffer the same fate as the Tories at the next election. It’s electoral coalition has been a delicate between the blue-collar working class and metropolitan liberals in big cities, Brexit nearly broke it and now Labour is...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

He had to get rid of Rayner because they’d spent all their time in opposition demanding resignations. How Rayner could be presented as a victim is beyond me.

    Long throws

Have you noticed that football is becoming more ‘territorial?’ Teams are putting the ball out deep in the opposition half to set up the press, it’s something we utilised a bit v Pompey away. Winning the ball from a punt upfield was not the goal, but rather the second ball or hoping Pompey put it...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

“Rabid defence” lol. People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. As it turns out, there’s a lot of Labour MPs and government ministers living in such houses. Politically, Starmer presented himself as a ‘tough, zero tolerance leader’ who said he’d sack anyone who is not beyond reproach...
