I wasn't saying that he should have, just that it is where Eccles value base is It's horses for courses though isn't it? Different players performing different roles. Albeit Torp is far better defensively than he might appear.

Eccles has got 100+ games at a good consistent level in the championship. We've not seen that from Torp yet, some good moments but also some games that have passed him by.
