    Think We've Got Problems?

I wonder if they could loan us a player or two?

    CCLSC conversation with TF

The operating costs weren't all about the rent though. There is a strong consensus it was too high, but it was not our biggest out going. A lot of money was going on wages and ex staff which shows general poor management of funds.

    Things looking up for Joy

I think it has been clear for sometime the state of CCFC does not directly affect the profitability of Joy.

I think you are spot on Rob. Unfortunately a lot of fans seemed to think a return was imminent, or at least that was the rumour a few days ago. I think the chess games still has some way to go yet. I see no signs of either side weakening or showing the desire for serious negotiation.

    CCLSC conversation with TF

FP despite ACL's stance in the media, I don't see why SISU could not have sent their proposal directly to them. It all smacks of both sides still trying to play games with each other...I don't see us any nearer to getting both parties negotiating a deal.

    CCFC in Private Eye again

In fairness I don't have a problem with anyone's opinion, especially when they try and expand on their stance. But you seemed to adopt a phrase and present it as fact. That's my opinion of course. Just to make things clear, I have no interest in who backed who, winners and losers....more...

    CCFC in Private Eye again

Nobody banded the phrase "illegal state aid" around in the direction of CCC like FP before the JR. Despite certain posters requesting caution over the complex legislation. Despite Chris West always being adamant it did not constitute illegal state aid.

    CCLSC conversation with TF

"the will of local people and local tax payers” ” might play a part with CCC , as the creditor-lender, positively encouraging both ACL and Higgs and thereby answering the question everyone is asking – which is just how much does the Council want its club to play back in the community." TF it...

Yes they did do due diligence they thought rent was acceptable...they have just chose to whinge about it since. They claim to be a professional outfit but everything I have seen is just shoddy...that is why we are where we are.

Put the Pressure on the FL

The deadline was the end of May. It can't be that difficult to work out what is owed...why do the FL need a meeting? Sounds like there might be a bit more shoe shuffling to this than we realise.

Weren't your beloved SISU trying to renegotiate the mortgage at one stage? So if you can't get a 43 year mortgage the term would be shorter, making the monthly repayments higher having a knock on effect...keeping the rent high.

    Last night's Trust meeting

Had a good Football team as well, half The Matrix Saturday side. I played for them and alongside Jim Holton for a few games when he was relief manager. Ray was a great gaffer of a pub as long as he liked you, I confirm his wife was a great cook.

    Temporary or Permanent

Perhaps SISU wanted to avoid a bidding process in administration with other parties who might have entered the fray?

    "Protest" Scarves

It is a mountain cat or wild cat that symbolises 'watchfulness' which is quite appropriate for a fans protest scarf.
