Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

No legal action blah from wasps and CSF then. Come on then SISU get it arranged straight away, no excuses this time

Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

So are you saying we have emailed Wasps and CSF asking for a meeting? If not why not?

Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

Wasps and CSF went to the last meeting and SISU never turned up. So now if Wasps and CSF say its to do with the legals. Then why the hell were they at the last meeting. If they come out with that, then it is just an coordinated effort to get the legals dropped (IMO). However fact of the matter...

Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

Does it amaze you that we are writing letters to the council and doing press releases about writing to the council. However it seems (I can't be certain) We are not picking up the phone and asking the people we need the talks with for dates? That is what this thread is about isn't it, the talks...

Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

Just capable of thinking past "They are the owners of CCFC so whatever decision they make is the best for CCFC" You should try thinking outside this little box for once it will be quite an enlightening moment for you. I promise sometimes SISU will do something because it's good for SISU but...

Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

I don't know they got advice it seems to keep their gobs shut over JR/1 and they were found to have nothing to worry about in that. I think but I am no expert that it's quite standard where lawyers will say you are in the right here but keep your gob shut so you don't say anything stupid that...

Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

Oh right so the onus is on the all the other parties to arrange the talks for our academy. Sorry I thought it might down to us to try and contact everybody and get things moving. Let's write to someone else then and do a press release and sit back and wait and see what happens. I take it Wasps...

Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

I would suggest he is very paranoid about answering questions like that because I am guessing (only guessing) they are been sued and he probably has been told not to answer such questions. He probably has to run everything through the legals before answering questions like that. Does that...

Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

Childish, this is too serious for your simplistic camp warfare comments. The club need to contact Wasps and CSF with Spirt England and the FA copied in asking for a date and time for talks to resume that all can make.

Yes that way I ended the debate

Council won't get involved with Talks about the academy

To be honest I did find it a bit strange the club were making a big song and dance about writing to the council saying they would take part in talks. I thought firstly you shouldn't be proud that you are prepared to take part in talks. It's your bloody academy you should be banging people's...

Match Thread Bradford v Coventry Match Thread - Saturday 20th Aug

First genuine test. Would be chuffed to bits with a nil nil and move towards getting August out of the way ASAP. As our squad strengthens

CCFC Letter to Planners / Council

Warwick Uni and Cov Uni for that matter woukd both be excellent ideas

    Another Reid biased view

All good and well writing to the council. The academy is for the football club. The people needing the talks to happen the most (apart from us fans) is the football club. Well done for writing to the council to say you would be happy to take part in meetings. Then doing a press release to say...

CCFC Letter to Planners / Council

The combined site of Ryton and the connexion wouldnt be big enough for an training/academy facility? Also it's worth having a look into the history of the place and the Jimmy hill era It was the sky blues connexion until the 80's

CCFC Letter to Planners / Council

It seems you can't permission for housing there as the sky blues looked into that with a view of selling ryton So a partnership with the sky blues could be a very good business option It used to have about 10 five aside leagues going on each night now that is 3-4 at a push

CCFC Letter to Planners / Council

At least with this letter the club have finally said they will talk to all parties. Let's hope it's not just this letter to the planners and that they are actually talking to the most important people and they have picked the phone up and asked for a meeting

CCFC Letter to Planners / Council

Have you been to the connexion recently I have been going there for around 12 years now and it has gone down remarkably over that time period in terms of both custom base and up keep. The only thing I don't see there is the functions so I don't know if that is thriving or not.

CCFC Letter to Planners / Council

To be honest I would still prefer them to try and do something with the connexion and have our own purpose built academy next door to our own training facility
