    Second loanee imminent

You have to say we would be brave going back to Bournemouth after what we've had from them before - once bitten, and all that....

Is it a player from Barnestoneworth United - recommended to us by Michael Palin ?

    Second loanee imminent

I want us to have a real go at Carlisle. Do the same old, same old and it will likely be a narrow defeat. We will beat Chesterfield, though. Then bring on the new Sky Blue saviours (but don't play them against Stoke - as I don't want Shawcross & co crocking them)!

Stand up if you've never watched Wasps

Just logged into thread. No - never seen Wasps. I have read the last few posts and think the thread should be renamed 'Grammatical Jousting'. We could have posters enter (as per the prediction league) then have a format like a cup knockout.

Quite a devastating day in terms of City's fortunes

I'm with you on this. I expect us to beat Chesterfield in our next home game, and quite possibly lose at Carlisle on Saturday. We may well be just outside the play off places as a result. However, we will also then have new players available. Should not be in too bad a position providing the...

Visited Lake Garda/Verona years ago. Then came across a book by Tim parks called 'A season with Verona' where he (Tim Parks) goes to every game (home and away) for a season (Hellas have a few players who you will have heard of) but it is a great read (lots of mad outings - mainly the away...

    Happy Christmas !!!

Merry Xmas, but let's keep it quiet so that our beloved CCFC don't realise that it's this time of year - we all know that they usually go missing in the new year - not this season, please lads!.

Slightly off piste - but I follow the results of another team (Hellas Verona in Italy, Serie A) They lost 4-0 today to Udinese, but it was all worthwhile because the final goalscorer was the fantastically named.......Kevin Lasagna (I kid you not!) Merry Sky Blue Xmas everybody !!!

Stoke Details Confirmed - Saturday 6th January

If we halved the price, the attendance wouldn't double (in my opinion - which is the only one that counts!!) People turn up because they want to go to the/a match.

Don't mind Luton winning as I cant see them not being in the top 3, so they may as well mop up points off as many competitors as possible (except us !!)

Results going fairly well - could do without Mansfield winning, and mixed feelings about the Colchester v P Vale game, P Vale can equalise providing they pick up suspensions and a shed load of injuries!
