    Get behind the team

There are too too many real diehards who have given up the ghost....that's part of the problem and an indication of how bad things are...? Let's hope we can see an upturn this season.

Match Thread Mickleover match thread (Tuesday 7.30pm)

I thought this was an important run out tonight, if we are judging strength and depth. We seem to have held our own, how much that tells us I am not sure? But winning habits through the squad has to be a good thing. Let's hope it can continue.

    Get behind the team

It's SISU...she won't give up because its SISU.

    Get behind the team

I liked this post. But I don't think SISU have given up. However their plan isn't around running a football club on tradition lines. Their route is through the court's, a relationship with the fans is irrelevant to their business model.

    Leamington & Warwick Supporters Club

Really Nick? "So how is it saving the club? It's the old "at least he's doing something" line isn't it? What should people be getting behind? Yet you keep saying it but don't point out what's shit? Back pats, cuddling other fans for pictures. People making up they are saving the club. I don't...

    Leamington & Warwick Supporters Club

Strange how some people are calling for fans to unite and support the team. Yet when some fans try to regenerate the fan base they get scoffed at.

    Get behind the team

They might not be, but they are very much influencing what is happening to the club. I have said it countless times before, they keep missing chances to engage the fans and get them on board. I can't believe anybody, not even an amateur, could be that bad at marketing. It is almost like they...

    Leamington & Warwick Supporters Club

Have I missed where he said he was saving the club? Or does it just suit your put downs. Sounds like a supporters club to me. People will go and support it if they get something back ; social scene, discounted travel. I don't think they are a Sky Blues Guy Fawkes plot.

    Get behind the team

And there is no evidence for SISU not to be grateful of the fan base the team has. Seppala's refusal to make any comment for the fans when exiting the court just breeds contempt. She knew the date, win or lose there should have been a statement. It seems whenever there are positives SISU are...

Good luck to him and at least we know where we stand.

    Can anyone name

    Oakey and Burnley.

    Ponticelli

I am referring to people who seem to be putting him forward as 'should be in the team'. I think he will be given chances this season from the bench. The ball will be at his own feet then, so to speak. But even if he got off to a flyer.....I agree, those other players have to pull their weight...

    4th signing - Monday - Liam Kelly

And we signed Slager and some fans were gushing with false expectation!

    Aaron Martin

Not over the season but when Mowbray had to play him through injury. Mowbray gave him a simple remit, "just head it and kick it away." The following season Mowbray obviously wanted a bit more despite the player matching the brief.

And yes, so you off load to improve but that buying bit is always a gamble.

    Ponticelli

And about lots of people that have failed. I believe if he is good enough he will get his chance and if he performs consistently he will keep the shirt. What we don't want is to have to keep playing him when/ if he loses form.

So you think they have made up the quotes from Robins?

    Ex Player Watch

Murphy's strength is one on one when he can knock the ball into space behind the defender and use his pace to beat the player. He started to struggle once teams recognised him as a threat and started to double up on him. He didn't have that many tricks in his locker as a winger at Coventry...
