Bad times. Terrible owners. Coventry City | Home Attendances | 2013-2014 | Football Web Pages Carlisle United 1603 attended. The figures for Birmingham season one are worse than I thought. Exeter City 1,155 Bristol Rovers 6,976 Gillingham 5,624 Walsall 1,005...

    All time average attendance

I thought that but over our history I guess it may be several hundred. There were some pretty low crowds in the early 80's as well. Not in the same league as taking your team away from the fans but another reason for the stats.

    Gay Footballers

Agreed, why would anyone feel they need to? Back to football though, I remember Justin Fashanu. It was sad that he couldn't feel welcome in his macho football teams. All wrong then and all wrong now. Maybe football is the last bastion of homophobia? Oh and like you, I understand what...

Does coming out really bother people that much? It is sad that you feel that way about an individual being able to live free from prejudice etc. One of my sisters came out at the age of 55. The most frustrating thing about it was that she took until 55 to do it. (A legacy of church, societal...

The workplace has values that people abide by. Anti-bullying, protected characteristics and codes of conduct that help to structure the organisation is a way that enables people to feel welcome regardless of their gender, race, sexuality, disability, ability, health and well-being. Which often...

    Gay Footballers

Agreed, and where I work it is quite normal to talk openly about relationships. Contrary to the view of one or two on here I can't stand bullying and accept people for who they are. The chappies on a couple of other posts here may be scratching their heads a bit but that's their problem...

And if it's like my woke workplace there is another 96% who can't be themselves as well. The thing is, workplaces should be exactly that and there should be no issues providing people stick to the same guidelines. That includes keeping private lives to themselves in my opinion. Maybe wrong...

Gregor Robertson article from The Times

"Coventry City fans are not ambitious". Beg pardon Mr Whitlock? Speak for yourself. SISU lacked ambition for the best part of a decade. Come on City..

    What has happened

Agreed, but it still rankles with me that we have let advantages slip in 2 consecutive games. This is where managers earn their money so we need to get back on the winning trail.

    Atmosphere

I guess some would prefer the 1500 that went to Northampton or the 6k regulars that followed city to Birmingham? Interesting... Just what do you expect when the team is running on low? It certainly wasn't a Gospel Choir from where I was sitting but it wasn't that bad considering our only goal...

Oh shyte, we know how this feels...Many will defend what our owners did to our club taking us out of our city. At the end of the day the fans are coming back after all that happened to them.
