    Wasps downward spiral...

Mmmmmm - if I;d walked out into my old seat (opposite players tummel) and CCFC had announced 10k crowd, I'd have laughed myself silly. No way there looks that many.

    A little perspective

Wycombe - new owners (cleared debt) Ipswich (bigger) Sunderland (bigger) Oxford? (but surprised if it wasn't bigger) Fleetwood - not sure how they're financed, as their crowds shouldn't be able to support the quality of players they have. All I'm saying is I think MR has done well overall with...

    A little perspective

    S u p p o r t e r s E x p e r t s C r i t i c s If MR had Sunderland's budget - then he deserves criticism. He doesn't have. We are in the top 6 despite awful officiating and injuries and yes, poor finishing, but playing good football - perspective is an appropriate word

    St Andrews

Tranmere (televised), Fleetwood, Accrington and Wimbledon. The atmosphere for those at the Ricoh would have been bouncing (and yes, I do want to get back at some point)

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Southampton U21 Match Thread - Tuesday 5th Nov

Could do with the win and the £10k for winning. Can afford to pick a reasonably strong side, including Shipley and whoever they intend to use as cover for McFadz on Saturday. Interesting to see who he picks up front - Kastaneer/Bremang ? (although they looked a bit powder puff against Ipswich...

    Robins comments on Hiwula

If it was a dig, I'd rather he didn't go public with it, and sort it out behind closed doors, Airing your dirty washing in public and all that. Also - bit of a daft time to fall out with a striker with what we are down to up front.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Accrington Stanley Match Thread - Saturday 2nd Nov

For all the criticism, we were comfortably the better team. Would people sooner watch us or Accrington? Even when the result hasn't go our way, we have played decent football this season, and we have had to deal with a shed load of injuries.

    Officials

Smiling now, but he really had a bit of a shocker - think that's the most I've ever booed at an official during the game (and normally, I rarely do)

    Rugby World Cup

Everybody wants to be associated with a winning team -had to laugh at my 85 year old stepfather, when I mentioned the General Election. He said 'I don't know if I'm going to vote as I'm not sure who's going to win it' ?!?!?!

    Rugby World Cup

I've said before, not the least interested in club rugby (except the obvious anti-wasps bit) but do enjoy watching England in internationals (except today!) and no, I don't understand some of the technicalities. Come on City!

    Rugby World Cup

Effective rugby but boring as buggery style. If the rest of the game pans out like this England lose and it is a poor advertisement for the game. Really want England to win, obviously - but f we are to lose, hope the 'depression; spreads to The Wasps 'support' (that's the miserable side of me...

Early cuppa. watch the egg chasers win the Rugby World Cup. a beer or two in The Roost and then 3 points. Thank you very much nice day. (Bonus point if Wasps cock it up at home to Bath!)
