What's the shorest length of time you have ever spent in a town or city?

5 minutes in York. Went up for the day, but as we parked, my 3 yr old son threw up. He wasn’t well so the wife insisted we went home....

Pros and cons of having kids - and not having them

I didn’t have a natural inclination to have kids, but as soon as the first one was born, it was like pouring a bucket full of emotion down your neck. Amazing. The first 35 years are the worst mind.... (Someone had to follow pipkins post. Wow that’s a whole lot of bad luck. Condolences fella. )

County fan, mostly in peace.... :-)

It seems most people apart from most Sky blues have forgotten that. Sky commentators kept banking on about the pen, Nolan has blanked it from his mind completely as have some city fans. Also, we were still under the cosh and Notts C had momentum when we scored the 3rd, so getting back to 2-2...

    parallel universe

I remember a few games at Highfield road that were as bad, or worse. One when we played Watford in a replay of a cup match after drawing 2-2 at their place. It was worse than Saturday. I recall peter Bodak flicking the ball up out of the water before smashing it towards goal. (may have...

Sounds great. Il Nido's is about 2 miles further up the hill from your hotel. Overlooks the bay. Fantastic views while dining on their balcony.

    The holiday thread I’ve

I took my lad jet ski-ing in Florida, He was only 14, so he wasn't supposed to drive it himself, so he buzzed around for 30 mins behind an instructor. Anyway, we persuaded the guy to eventually let him drive it.... he was doing well, then tried a 360 deg turn, just as the instructor had done...

You should hop on a bus to Il Nido's and have a meal there. It's worth it just for the view, but the food is good too.

    It's Never Too Late ?

I should have played Rugby, not football. I was in the school Rugby team, and not too bad a player, but couldnt get into the football team though, too many better players at Cally... (bbr?) When I left, I stopped Rugby, and carried on playing football. I was crap really, so never ever won...
