    "Kwani...how I love ya, how I love ya My dear old Kwani!" (Sorry, couldn't resist) I've got a cousin in Holland called 'Harrogate'. Yep, the same as the town in Yorkshire. Both his parents are Dutch so I can't imagine whatever induced them to call him that?

    The Experimental Model Company or "Emco" for short. They had a smaller outlet in Hales Street, opposite Matterson's.

    H.H. Spicer was an electrical retailer, mostly TV and radio. They had several stores around the city including one on the corner of Far Gosford Street and Binley Road and this temporary showroom at the bottom of Hertford Street. They were eventually taken over by Gibbs.
