    Financial Stability

I'm surprised you care so much about ACL and compass's income - are you turning ? You say They will not buy them as if it is a fact-it is your opinion only...unless Joy has told you otherwise. It was Joy's decision to remove CCFC from the city of Coventry and dump them in Northampton, so it's...

Football League statement - Coventry City

In that case, the barrier is SISU wanting something for nothing, and not ACL or Higgs Charity.

Football League statement - Coventry City

There is no barrier. CCFC can just buy them back.

Correct Nick CCFC sold them, so CCFC should buy them back

    Review from Sideways Sammy

You may be a very intelligent guy (a veritable Sheldon Cooper), but all i'm saying is, that you telling everyone how smart you are, and implying that others are halfwits, just smacks of arrogance, and gives people a target ie to prove your statements wrong.

    Review from Sideways Sammy

When you claim to know a lot more about the game than the majority of the half wits on here (your quote), then you're going to have to expect that people will try to puncture that massive ego my friend ;)

Coventry pay to resurface Sixfields pitch as waggot predicts us playing there

So the fact that FA rules say that players are employees, has no bearing on your view that they are not ?

Coventry pay to resurface Sixfields pitch as waggot predicts us playing there

It's seems your fight is with the FA then. The entire FA and it's 150 year history vs. Grendel Maybe you ought to write to them, and tell them that their rules are wrong...or maybe give them a phone call ;) Also HMRC (with their IR35 directive) would disagree with you.

Coventry pay to resurface Sixfields pitch as waggot predicts us playing there

But surely as they offer their services to only one club/company, they must be employed. They are allowed paternity leave (though i don't know of any who have take it), are paid when sick/injured and have money deducted and paid into their pension pots. Like Wingy says, their image rights are a...

Coventry pay to resurface Sixfields pitch as waggot predicts us playing there

Aren't footballers just employees of the club they are contacted to ? As an example, most of us saw John Arne Riise's payslip online a few years ago, showing employee number and PAYE deductions-very interesting http://metro.co.uk/2007/10/31/liverpool-star-fumes-as-payslip-turns-up-on-web-419011/

    Baker to Barnsley

Not a bad bet, if he stays injury free. His goal scoring stats are amazing for a defender.
