Not convinced about this lad Doyle, good back up. Im sure we will have a good look at him great we got him in early can play a few friendlys and the carling cup. But id rather start Hyam/Mcfadz/Rose but that wont be sustainable. Agree with majority this is a major downgrade on JCS.

He really improved and got better in the left side of 3 centre back towards end of season. Outstanding in fact.

Doyle will be a decent squad player. But still need a quality Centre back and LWB...even though Bidwell can competently cover both.

First choice Back 5 currently Dabo......2nd choice Eccles/Kane Hyam.....2nd choice Rose Mcfadz....first choice TBA Bidwell.....2nd choice Doyle LWB.....Bidwell.....AN other So i I think we need another LWB and a proper quality centre back. To enable rotation and cover for injuries etc.

Very impressive passing possession stats maybe hes gonna develop in to left wing back...seems like a good dribbler. Aerial duals won are concerning. Hence put him on the Wing. Lads got potential to develop.

He has that x factor I think he will be in around the squad. I'd keep him as back in case of couple of injuries. Robin's rates him too. Glad to see him making an impact.

Regarding Hamer Ohare comment. Its only a few more assists and or goals than what they got last year. Which they are easily capable of.

As it stands weaker defensively. But thats gonna change as soon as we get a couple of defenders in. Much stronger offensively if we keep hold of our gems.

Keep Vik, Hamer and Ohare. Add 2 centre backs and a left wing back... No reason why our squad and players shouldn't be better than last year. Assuming they improve. Vik - 25 plus goals. Hamer and Ohare both 20 plus assists/goals. Top 6. Without breaking sweat.

For me its Godden. Godden if fit will play a part in most games. Dont think Mcafadz will be a regular once we get a couple of decent centre backs in. Doubt Robin's will change anything though.

They have always had the smallest squad in championship by a country mile. Quality over quantity. They been lucky with injuries. Currently only about 16 first team players after new signings. Last season worked with just a squad size of about 18 players.

Think they were teammates at Walsall. Not sure though.
