Well said. He was running riot when Waghorn was either setting him up or drawing defenders away to free up space for Gyo. I can understand why MR prefers the Godden-Gyo combo, but something seems to be missing the last 2 matches. Not sure if the recent international break has caused us to lose...

Didn't read the entire thread. This was a total waste of time. The only positives since international break are the clean sheets, but we seem to have forgotten how to score and look absolutely toothless.

I also think Godden for Allen would add height and more attacking intent from the get go. No reason to be defensive at home against them especially considering the other upcoming games where a more defensive approach would make more sense.

He's great and has a great engine. Indispensable to our team. The only missing parts to his game are to improve his shooting and know when to fall in the box when tackled.

We've played 2 up top for most of the season and some of us have been calling for an extra person in midfield to shore things up, especially away from home where our form needs to improve. They are a good team and their position is a little deceiving imho.
