    CET Fans Survey

Think that in the accounts for that year it actually showed a total of £3.5 million for both Fox and Dann, despite the bollocks from Ranson. Think the "hands off" warning in the press by Ranson the December before was really a badly disguised plea for somebody to please come and buy them as...

The thing is, with the quality that we still had then, we should have been play-offs at least, unfortunately our "football man" Chairman appointed Coleman.

Dubious from the start, the fact that Ranson with and without Sisu had been turned down previously by Man City, Aston Villa, and Southampton rung a few alarm bells, but to have a dissenting voice then was to be a traitor or Leicester fan.

    CET Fans Survey

That Sisu didn't really have any money, that the sales of Dann and Fox were down to this, and not the "heads turned" line spouted by Sisu, that Coleman was a dreadful manager, and was only getting worse, that within a few years we would be relegated. Despite alll the "Sisu saved us", "Ray is a...

YEOVIL - Smaller squad than CCFC ???

Didn't Forest and Bristol City change their manager? Doubt if you can see what i've done there.

YEOVIL - Smaller squad than CCFC ???

Couldn't have finished in much worse position than we did if we had changed the manager. Ifs, buts and maybes, but the only definite is that we did get relegated without changing the manager.

YEOVIL - Smaller squad than CCFC ???

Thorn went to Doncaster? I thnk they'd have done okay with O'Dricoll in charge without needing the disruption that Mackay caused with his genius loan plan.

YEOVIL - Smaller squad than CCFC ???

Also got loads of loan players in, which was championed as a clever bit of work on here by some..

YEOVIL - Smaller squad than CCFC ???

Also found themselves in the bottom three at Christmas, so got a new manager in.

    Another one lost

So if our budget is reasonable in League One terms, then any success will not be due to Thorn, but to Sisu? Can see that line going down well on here.

But what is your point? Once or a hundred times still difficult to see that it is anythiung more than: Budget = Success Whoever has the most money will win, the least will lose, and managers are irrelevant. It is valid though, which explains why Leicester and West Ham walked away with the...

Expect he had the lowest budget of any of the Premiership sides last season, though Lambert may have ran him close. According to MMM, budget is all though, if you have a bottom three budget, then it doesn't matter who you are, you will finish in the bottom three. Plenty of teams disprove that.

    Another one lost

A good manager would outperform his resources, why should any of us bother at all? Just issue the places at the start of the season based on budget. Dalgleish would have probably kept his job then, and Rodgers wouldn't be at Liverpool now because he'd have been relegated with Swansea before a...

    Retro City...

Weren't the fifties our lowest ebb? "The post-war years brought troubled times, Storer left for Birmingham City in 1945 and returned in 1951 but his ageing side were relegated to Division Three South in 1952. That decade witnessed many false dawns before the team embarked on the slide...

Hoffman... where the f**k are you ?

That's fair enough if you like him, just don't find him particularly good myself! I have a huge fondness for Sean Flynn, who most wouldn't rate at all.
