    Strengthening in the summer

A lot of it depends on what league we’re in next season but I’d say we need a new striker, a first choice left back, a left sided CB, another additional CB and an attacking midfielder. Perhaps a slightly controversial one but I think we probably need a better goalkeeper as well.

    Will we stay up ?

So your solution is for us to be as financially careless as these other clubs and potentially completely fuck ourselves if we went down anyway? Worked well for Portsmouth, Blackpool etc. etc.

    Will we stay up ?

Yeah, clubs spending loads of money they don't have to try and stave off relegation has historically gone very well.

    Ostigard

Brighton have 6 centre backs better than Ostigard, I’d imagine he moves on in the summer but I think it’ll probably be somewhere else rather than back here.

Left back / wing back against Norwich next Tuesday

Playing one of our right footed CBs at LWB is sure to work out well.

    Today’s games

Momentum matters a lot. We have a horrendous run from now until mid-March with a much depleted squad.

    Will we stay up ?

I don’t think you can really have to much of a go at Robins over the January window. We’ve already got 4 strikers at the club and we brought in another one on loan. We’re not in a position where we can afford to make stop-gap signings to tie us over while players are out injured, except for...

    Will we stay up ?

No team has scored less goals than us since the win at Wycombe. 6 in 11 for us, next nearest is Blues who have 7 in 11.

    Biamou - new contract

I’d only offer him a new 1 year deal if we went down. He’s not up to the standard of this division.

    Will we stay up ?

Good for them, they were poor today and were there for the taking. My point is that we aren’t getting the wins we need in the games where we play well due to how many chances we miss.

    Will we stay up ?

I’m not surprised, I expected us to be in a relegation battle. Just because I expected it doesn’t mean that it wouldn’t be awful to get relegated this season given the clubs financial position and the chasm in revenue between the two leagues. Like many have said it’s doubly frustrating because...

    Did we win though?

    Will we stay up ?

Can't say I really understand the supreme confidence from some, especially talking about how we'll get on in this league next season, give the current lack of goals and the proximity to the drop zone. Sure, we've put in some decentish performances but we've still only won 2 of our last 11...

    Will we stay up ?

I'm not particularly confident at the moment. We need to win games and we can't do that if we don't score. Other teams really picking up as well just as we've got a grim run of games.

    Today’s games

If we're still out of the relegation zone after Blackburn away I think we'll be ok. Need to get a win from somewhere though in these next 5 games.

It's a solid point on paper but on the balance of play it feels like two points dropped.
