Joe Cole agrees deal with Tampa Bay Rowdies

Can't comment much on this years' nasl.com as I don't use it much anymore...but last year they had a million useless stats and frequently got the bloody scores wrong..

Joe Cole agrees deal with Tampa Bay Rowdies

I went to every home game a couple of years ago. The standard then was so-so. Watching the NASL now is painful, both the playing side, and the officiating. It's common place for players to run around the ball to play it with their favoured foot, or worse, pass straight in to touch with their...

Victim of a Plague of Ghosts?

The thing the club has lacked for many, many years is stability. Chopping and changing managers, quite simply, hasn't worked. However, Mowbray, and his lack of a tactical alternative when we got sussed by other clubs has been a big part of the problem this season. If Mowbray and MV can...

Victim of a Plague of Ghosts?

Yes. The clue was in this sentence: This was as much a footballing/tactical failure as it was shitty ownership.

Victim of a Plague of Ghosts?

All well and good...however, who was pointing at ownership when we were top of the league? This was as much a footballing/tactical failure as it was shitty ownership.

Victim of a Plague of Ghosts?

An observation also supported by the fact that downturns in the second half of the season aren't a new phenomenon for Mowbray.

    Do you think

It's not a cause, it's a reaction to what's being witnessed. Does it help? Probably not. I would imagine it only contributes to the general feeling around the staff and the club as a whole. It would be nice to think everyone would get behind the team in good times and bad, however, in our...

We're used to post Christmas implosions.... but Mowbray has provided one in quite spectacular fashion. Looking at his managerial history, it seems he's a specialist.

Joe Cole agrees deal with Tampa Bay Rowdies

The lack of fitness was a big problem. Why he was so badly out of shape I don't know. That said, in summary, it appears that we did him more of a favour than he did us.
