We need an appointment by the weekend

Rubbish, the season is far from over. There is more than a quarter of it left. Two wins on the bounce we are right back in it. Unless you think Yeovil, Sheffield United et al are so much better than us that they are uncatchable? This is the best position we have been in at this stage of the...

We need an appointment by the weekend

This isn't the time for a long drawn out interview process that takes weeks, aimed at getting the 'right man'. Firstly, there is no guarantee that process will get the right man, and if it does, there's no guarantee he'll stick around anyway. We need a quick appointment. They should go with...

    What did Sepalla tell MR?

What exactly is your point. FACT, this is a third division club that operates at a loss. The owners plug that funding gap while trying to minimise losses. That makes sense. At the same time, they have brought players in and secured others on long term contracts. Of course there will be ins...

    Isn't that bad news?

    Huddersfield confirm Robins in talks

Hate to say it Otis, but I don't think he has anything to say. Has gone for what he deems to be a better offer. Perhaps it is money, or maybe it is because he wants to move back to Yorkshire. Either way, I don't think there are any behind the scenes issues. Guess we'll find out tomorrow, so...

A nice write up in the Daily Mail

It is the WORLD'S most popular online newspaper. You have to give them some credit for that. Anyway, I have read the article and I take it back, it is rubbish. About 40K to Charity Shield, it was closer to 60,000. 2000 from Crewe? No. You have the feeling he just made most of that up.

A nice write up in the Daily Mail

No it isn't really. In amongst all the silly alarmist stuff there are some well written articles and some good journalists. You don't become the world's most popular online newspaper (recently overtaking the New York Times) by being completely shit all of the time.

Tonight's 'new fan' questions and comments!

Never understood why some people struggle with the idea that if you put thousands of people in the same place at the same time, you are going to get loads of differing opinions. If people groan at an over hit cross, so what, what difference does it make? Fans have hardly got on the players...

    photos

The rules only apply (and this has always been the case) to the publication of pictures of the game itself. Nobody gives a toss if you take a picture of the crowd.

Sky Blue Trust Open Meeting In Casino Before Tonights Game

Anyone banking on getting in the casino tonight, let alone getting served a beer, after about 6.30pm is being wildly optimistic. Giving it a wide berth tonight, took me half an hour to get served the last time I was in there, and the gate was 10,000. Shall be in Cherry Tree tonight, but don't...

Tonight's 'new fan' questions and comments!

No people, almost everyone there tonight will have been many times before, but tonight they will just all be at the same game. I know a lot of casuals going tonight, some of you might call them 'fairweather', but they all go to the odd game, and all have been regulars at the ricoh at some...

    2 tickets needed for tomorrow..

Yes, managed to get one at least so happy with that. Got to meet outside the ground though, so hope the person turns up, my brother will be flapping until he has it in his hand! I'm sure it'll be fine though.

    2 tickets needed for tomorrow..

...a long shot I know, but seeing as there seem to be a few tickets flying around, thought I'd ask the question. My brother and his lad are after tickets for tomorrow. Missed out because his missus lost a close member of her family during the time tickets were on sale, and he just had other...

What will the crowd be on Tuesday?

Yep, I've been told, no attendance no Wembley ticket. They were quite clear on that. As for the gate, it will be based on tickets sold not actual attendees anyway (as is the case with league gates where ST holders are counted if even they do not turn up), so it'll be over 31,000.

    Sky Blue Ultras

With block 14, 15 and 16 you are almost there anyway, just lacks numbers most games. On a good night though - Blues at home this season and the 2 recent JPT games, the support from that part of the ground is quite impressive. Moving away fans closer would help the atmosphere no end in my opinion.

    Sky Blue Ultras

To be fair, that was a league cup semi final. Stick a camera on block 15 & 16 on Tuesday you could easily make 20 minutes of footage just like that. It isn't very English, that's the reason why some object. I'm split on it tbh.

    Sky Blue Ultras

It was 1477. I blame that extra 177, tone deaf the lot of them. I was totally in tune. I sang "you fat bastard" in perfect pitch and on key.
