I'm guessing these planes will have to be flown to Ukrainian bases from Poland. I suspect when that happens the Russians will be tracking them and know how many and where. Surely they will try and shoot them down en route. If they do they will claim these planes were on an attacking sortie...

Will these MIGS be taking off from Poland on their missions or be based somewhere in Ukraine ? Are there any airfields in Ukraine still under Ukrainian control ? My worry is that if they operate from within Poland then technically it will be NATO involved in the war.
