I'm sorry but some people need to just put their disappointment behind them and get on with supporting the team and the new3 manager. There was never gonna be one manager that was every fan's choice, not a realistic one anyway. We are in the third tier of English football. This is our market and...
Any chance he might bring Lyle Taylor with him? 20 goals in 25 games. Described as agile and quick. English lad from Greenwich. Come through the non league divisions.
"Poor man's McGoldrick, he's just a poor man's McGoldrick!"
He's stepped in some very difficult shoes to fill and I've only seen him a couple of times but I think he's a good player in his own right. Good scoring rate, long may it continue.
Do they not have schools in Crewe? To be fair, the comment about the youth system is wrong. Crewe have a long and creditable history of turning out good youth players and selling them on to survive. I would love to have some of the players they have produced over the years.
On another note...
Murphy : 7. Handling was good but distribution wasn't the best today.
Christie : 8. Played excellent, defended and got forward well.
Wood : 7. Played well. Did a job. Good clearance at the end, I turned away as I thought they had scored.
Cameron : 8. Probably joint MOM with Christie. Was...
Such a shame we didn't bring him in a few years ago when he would have had some level of financial backing,'and it's good that he is intimating that if he has brought a player on that is not performing 100% he is willing to change it.
I know what you mean, I let out a groan when that went in. Realistically he's not gonna come back but if he scores goals like that he's more likely to stay with Ipswich. The only slim chance we would ever have is if he has a nightmare spell there and they don't see his signing as a worthwhile...
Robins on SSN came across with a bit of self satisfaction and rightly so! Mentions there is 1/3 of a season left, only had 3 points when he took over and if you are only in the bottom 3 after 12 games you tend to finish mid table at best. Ends with "we'll see".
Comes across as a sensible...
As a former Sheff Wed player I bet he enjoyed them two goals today a bit extra. He was brought in to replace a certain David McG and he is scoring goals at the moment. Long may it continue. He is a different type of player and may not offer the same options as an out ball from defence early in...
