Barton is a good player, he is clearly lacking fitness and as Torchy said, he is playing in a team that has been poor overall. I rate the lad and think he will be good for us.

Totally agree with him. We might have a lot of centre backs, but I'm not confident with them really and Hussey is struggling a bit, so we should have another LB in the squad, Wood and Edge at LB is not ideal IMO. First things first is sort the defence out and stop shipping these daft goals.

After reading the views on this thread the conclusion i'v come to is that ok its not going to make us much money short term, but it's the first step taken towards us owning the Ricoh. That has to be a good thing right ?

I'm not sure if I'm right in thinking this, but I would have thought that it is now harder for someone to come in and buy the club rather than it being easier as Sisu wouldnt sell the 50% of the Ricoh for £10m. So it would have been cheaper to buy the club before. Could be wrong of course.

Robins said he has been working with some premiership academy's, so I wouldn't be surprised if we land a winger or two on loan.

I think it does show signs of stability by giving Robins a 3 year contract. Unless he does a really bad job, I think sisu will keep him in charge for the long haul as it's going to take time to turn our club around. Stability really is the key.

I think it will only be on CWR and not ssn. Could be wrong though.
