    Jordon Rhodes

There are gems in the lower leagues and a lot are rejects from elsewhere or late developers. Just need to unearth them and that's why clubs like us need to have a bit of dosh to be able to pay £200/250k here and there. Something we done for years when we were in the top flight, many turned out...

    So No Takeover Then?

In fairness there is nothing to say is there. Our aspirations were raised a couple of weeks ago especially after the Chris Cattlin interview after the Brighton match. We just have to sit tight, fingers crossed and hope any interested parties stay interested.

    Radford Sky Blues?

Went to school (Barker's Butts) with David Last, who was perhaps a brother or uncle, sadly David was killed in car crash on the Tamworth Road, went to many an away game with him.

City arkwardness tomorrow and demonstrators be on your guard.

It was and I believe they are still there, but it seems sisu won't comply yet. Had they done so 3 or 4 months ago we would perhaps be a lot higher up the table, would they be better than sisu ? Don't know, but could it be any worse ? under the circumstances think i would take the chance.

    Radford Sky Blues?

Widdrington Road and as kids as young as 12/13 a crowd of us would go to virtually every away game in the JH years, jump on the number 14 inner-circle bus, station, train, Swindon, Crewe, Preston or whereever, match, train , inner-circle and home usually for less than a quid. For example...

City arkwardness tomorrow and demonstrators be on your guard.

Because anybody with half a brain so i assume that includea you will know 2 turnstiles and that will be one for the Telegraph stand and one for the the larger and busier Tesco stand is inapropriate, i am hoping and don't rule out the old bill ordering the opening of an exit gate to prevent...

City arkwardness tomorrow and demonstrators be on your guard.

So those who run Coventry City are playing the awkward card Saturday. Firstly only entrances 28/29 will be open for those coming in after 15 minutes, they say they can't spare any more staff to open more turnstiles, must be expecting a last minute rush of 20000 then. Also it appears that those...

Will Thorn be manager next season?

I doubt it very much, he may even struggle to stay if we are taken over anytime soon. The reason being in either scenario he would have to hit the ground running, maybe even sprinting and the first time he stumbles the fans will be on him, he's drew a short straw has AT but he knew that and you...

Saturday demo is a protest NOT a boycott

Sums up the bloke in my eyes, no need to say anything and if he felt he had to he should atleast go public on his opinion on how the club is being run, if he is in favour of the current way fine but he should say now that he has put his head above the parapett

Saturday demo is a protest NOT a boycott

You think wrong. The last meeting decided to do a protest as described the subject boycott came mainly from websites and the local press. There are some who will protest and not go in but a lot of them are not going to ANY home games whilst SISU are involved here.

Saturday demo is a protest NOT a boycott

Thats another point, PEACEFUL, that seems to be conveniently forgotten by our local press. We all know what football fans can be like we saw in the Derby fixture what spontaneus protest brings, people get themselves thrown out, arrested, fined and banned. This way hopefully stops that. BUT that...

Saturday demo is a protest NOT a boycott

This issue on Saturday keeps being highighted as a boycott by some thicko journalists in the local media aswell as mis-informed former Cov managers such as Sillett and Gould. It is a visual protest designed to catch the larger media attention. Most of those taking part will have bought a ticket...

    Saturday's Boycott/Protest

This protest Saturday is just the start and probably should have happened months ago and it is against SISU and how they have and are running and ruining our club. I don't think there will be hundreds there but it's a start and i am certain will gain momentum should sisu remain. Don't give a...

do you all really think its just SISU to blame

Maybe and now sisu are dealing with a Labour led council could have been Tory when they came in so things change. On the evidence we have seen though would you want sisu anywhere near to owning any part of the Arena ?

do you all really think its just SISU to blame

I think initially the council were okay on sisu gaining part ownership of the Arena. They are obvious party to things we're not and i think there was a change of direction by sisu for whatever reasons and the council backed off. Was it credit crunch, were sisu found out to be unreliable who...
