If sales have been delayed for that reason - it'd be sensible for them to just let us know.

Oh Lord - RIP John Sillett

Remembering the second half of our 4th round win at Old Trafford in '87. In my memory it was 45 minutes solid chanting of "George & John's Sky Blue Army" - to keep warm as much as anything else - freezing cold day! Thanks for the memories Snoz. RIP.

    The Penalty

I have a degree of sympathy, but as far as this issue is concerned the game "went to pot" a long time ago. I've been watching CIty since the late 60's and remember the antics of the likes of Francis Lee from all those years ago. A recall a home game v Man City in the early 70's with the West...

    New song for Viktor

I know there are many versions of how to pronounce Vic’s surname, but they all have 3 syllables (I think). How about a version of the the old Mo Konic song, replacing “Mo Ha Med” with “Yok Or Ess”. Then something along the lines of: He is the super Swede or He is our brilliant Swede His goals...

    QPR away

Correct. It changed in about 1980. Before that, gate receipts were broadly split, with the home club taking a larger % to cover the costs of putting on the match. I remember Jimmy Hill saying it was a bad change as it would make the bigger clubs richer and widen the gap with the smaller clubs.

    QPR away

According to a quick Google search (always reliable...), QPR away capacity is 2,500. Maybe another 500 tickets could be requested by the club?

    Coventry City Transfer Disappointments

I was in the back of my parents' car heading to spend Xmas at my Uncle's, when I heard that Dennis Mortimer had been sold to Villa. I cried. It ruined Christmas (even though John Craven replaced him in the Boxing Day game away to Wolves and scored the only goal).

    George Curtis

Thanks for all the memories George. When people talk about Sky Blue legends, Big George, has to be the first name on the list. RIP.

Graham Oakey was also a fabulous attacking full back. So sad that injury at Villa Park cut short his career. But Roland was simply immaculate.

    Membership / Season Tickets

I told my kids they could support whichever team they wanted to. They only had to support Cov if they wanted to live inside the house.

    Steve Hunt.

As I recall, our lot were singing "There are brown men on the pitch" - to the same tune.

Remember him scoring in his debut at the Baseball Ground in the first outing for the famous chocolate brown away kit!
