    In sickness and in health

How is it so damned difficult for some people to see who the real enemy is? Did the British people, during the last war, blame Belgium for letting Germany march across them (again) - NO. Did they blame Switzerland for remaining neutral (again)- NO. Did they blame the USA for being late to...

    The waiting game....

One of the reasons we are where we are is because of council intervention in the past to save the club from paying the price of the, then, owner's folly. I don't see how any other party, other than the fans, can do much to alter the current situation. They either trot along to Sixfields, to...

    1987 FA Cup final

I bought a new car in 1986 with a CD player installed - and it wasn't brand new technology then.

I suspect the Samaritans block his number a few nights a week so they can spend some time dealing with more normal people.

    The community asset

On that basis, the council should be able to give away every building it owns without it costing the ratepayer a penny. Get requests in now for the civic building of your choice.

    What have i missed?

Greg Clarke, Chairman of the Football League, admits they made an administrative mistake in allowing the club to move to Northampton - they got mixed up with Nuneaton. Still, no harm done.

    Football league admit incompetance!!!

Anyone remember AFC Wimbledon being fined, thrown out of the FA Trophy and docked 18 points for fielding an ineligible player? Their "crime", when registering the player was to not tick the box to indicate that they were signing an overseas player - he was signed from Cardiff! So, when it suits...

    SISU Capital Ltd accounts 2013

Isn't that £70m going to show up somewhere as an asset, however worthless it is? And by picking out the bits they want, SISU could make it appear that they do have the asset backing to fund losses in Northampton and finance a new stadium.

    SISU Capital Ltd accounts 2013

I am not sure about those figures for assets under management. Hedge fund income comes from taking a percentage of fund value plus a percentage of any increase in the fund value. Based on SISU's income for the year, this would indicate that they are charging less than 2% which I find difficult...

    Peter Knatchbull-Hugessen

We have seen the SISU "experts" - Igwe, Dulieu, Brody etc. You can't seriously think ACL employees could be less competent than that bunch of clowns.

Quite right, I suspect that most of the clubs in this country that "own" their stadiums have at least one charge over it. Furthermore, most of the top 500 companies in this country don't own their head office - they lease. Rather than tie up money in bricks and mortar, it is used to invest in...

    SISU Capital Ltd accounts 2013

I agree. I did some searching a few months ago and it is a long time since SISU or any of their related companies reported a transaction to the major stock exchanges. As I have said a few times, a complex company structure is a useful way of hiding a complete lack of substance.

greg clarke interveiw on cwr after 7 this morning

It seems to me that we heard similar weasel words and saw similar hand-washing over Wimbledon. Any move to form a new team in Coventry will now get my 100% support and I will be first in line for a season ticket to watch the new team at the Ricoh next year. To get things rolling, all the money...

Why don't you organise one? How about a protest march through the city, all those people that have been waving "ACL Out" banners are sure to join you.
