    SISU Finances explained

If it is an organisation to help disadvantaged children- why are they still holding onto their share in a football stadum? The club is losing money-m we all know this regardless of your stance on ACL/SISU etc. Who supports these losses- the owners for past 5 years or so. So katzenjammer is...

If there was a genuine plan to move back

I would think Warwickshire Council would be glad of it. Lets be honest, Birmingham have already nicked their cricket team! They would be glad of increased profile, revenue, footfall and everything else that comes with something bringing 10k people + every two weeks. As said, the Ricoh is...

Skyblues Trust email received this afternoon

But according to Les Reid yesterday, agreements were made between ACL/Council and Sisu on the mortgage to Yorkshire Bank and then went adrift too- forgotten by ACL. 2 sides to every coin

Skyblues Trust email received this afternoon

I am not neccesarily pro SISU, pro ACL, pro Council- simply pro the club As far as I am aware, ACL have said no more negotiations on a lease (Get out of Coventry!) Thats leave the club in a situation of having nowhere to play and nowhere in Coventry that wants us to play there. Looking...

    Bare bones

Sorry- should have quoted 'Broken Hearted Sky Blue' there! No offence intended ddccfc

    Rip acl

hmm. Off top of my head I dont know, but I suppose there is development land in/around Coventry that could accomodate a stadium. Fact is CCFC was founded in 1883, the Arena opened in 2005. I don't support the club because it plays at the Ricoh- I support them initially becuase of my family and...

    Bare bones

Well yes, most clubs will have around 15 players remaining when they have released players they do not want...your point is? Should we have a squad of 34 but only really be comfortable/confident with playing 15 of them on a regular basis?

    Pre Season announcement

Ashdown- are you suggesting they should sit on their hands until everything else is sorted?! Pre-season matches are vital prep for next season, and every other clubs is arranging theirs- so this is surely good sense

    Appleton

Has it been confirmed by the Football League...I've seen ACL and potential buyers say this but Football League hasnt commented have they?

    latest statement from Mr Appleton

I think just becuase you do not agree with what is said, doesnt mean its not impartial- it's just not what you agree with!

Administrator denies he's concluded share was with limited

I don't think it has been said publicly by thr Football League where anything is. Only ones to 'quote' the Football League on this have been ACL/Ainsworth

    Dunn starting Saturday..

I think it's disappointing to read negative comments on Dunn. He is being called in for his first league start, he is our keeper on Saturday and needs our backing, not criticism

Administrator denies he's concluded share was with limited

Has the Football League said anything though? They have been quoted by other parties (ACL/Bob Ainsworth etc) about the 'Golden Share' but they have not said anything publicly one way or another

Are we really reduced to this?

Absolutely. I suppose my point is we didnt have somewhere last week, now we do

Are we really reduced to this?

Maybe as a new forum member Im not cynical enough yet- but... I tried to buy a £10 shirt last week and couldnt. Now there is somewhere to go to buy one- isnt that a positive thing? (for a change!)
