Agree with this take. I think Ashley would want the club eventually but we will be fucked by the time he got it. At the end of the day he’s a businessman not a fan. He couldn’t give a monkeys if he’d took us to cleaners before purchasing us. He was hardly bothered by 40,000 angry newcastle fans.

With you on this but then again I’m always the pessimist but I just can’t see any of this being good for the club in the short term.
