Well I can only add that from my recall of events Dave's assessment of what happened is spot on. Will look for some press articles on it when I get a chance, so please bear with.

    Academy future?

You predate me there as well Jack, Mrs Brown was head of Stoneleigh when I started, in the mid 80's.

In my view none of it makes a difference apart from personal views being presented on a forum, and opinions given. I am sadly of the opinion that whovever you berate/champion or whatever on this forum, it will never change SISU's ownership until they decide to do so.

    Academy future?

In the late 80's the Whitley fields stopped just short of the Henrys fields, just over the Sowe. Had to run the bastard fields week after week in cross country, and remember there being a field gap before the A45, which were owned by Henrys. Bloody cross country!

I will ask you this question again, for your thoughts as you sidestepped it yesterday... how does challenging SISU constantly on this forum change their ownership? as it didnt seem to make much difference when we went stratospheric when the move to Northampton was announced. We can call them...

Fair points in there Tony. I know we disagree on the odd occasion, but we also agree many times, and I guess I am just ground down by it all, as I honestly cant see how we rid ourselves of SISU. I long for the days when we just concentrate on the football, not onwership, CCC, wasps etc, but it...

I dont fail to notice anything Tony, if you looked at previous posts I had spoken about SISU and the damage they have done to our club. If you want to continually bang on about SISU you go for it, I am tired of it, and if you think that makes you a better fan in your mind then well done you...

It does work both ways, and here we are still owned by SISU. It doesnt matter whether you blame SISU 100%, or blame others as well, we are still no further forward. I wish someone had a feasible answer, but sadly I think SISU are here for the long haul. Wasps fan, now that was an insult ;)

    Tales of The Spion Kop

Brilliant matesx, I had forgotten about them, I couldnt belive it the first time i saw them. Health and Safety would have a field day if we had them now. Greta place to watch in good weather, awful in the rain. I was sad to see the Kop go, but thought the East Stand that replaced it was a...

I agree but when people get shouted down that they dont hate SISU enough, or dont blame them enough etc etc, it just irritates me inherently, as they just cant see past the blinkers that it doesnt change anything. What these people miss is the irony that we can all hate them as much as we want...

So your suggestion primarily boils down to working with Wasps, but yet you tell us how much you hate SISU, and want rid of them. .....................How does that get rid of SISU? In my eyes what you are saying is you hate SISU unless they work with Wasps and then it seems you then think they...

So lets all attack SISU, every poster day in and day out. After we all get bored of that what will it have achieved? We all hate SISU but as I mentioned earlier in this post, no one (including those that smugly seem to Champion themselves as the righteous SISU haters on the board) has come up...

I think pretty much everyone hate and despise SISU, I just supsect many like me dont think we can make any difference to getting shot of them, and constantly banging on about it on the site has made no difference. I like others also feel their are other protagonists to blame, with the majority...

But isn't this site full of criticism mostly aimed at mostly non-SISU bodies. No is it bollocks. People slag them off, and there are others who raise issue at other parties they feel have contributed to our sad state, and they get shouted down by the regular bunch of frothy mouthed posters who...

Are you going to keep bringing up the White elephant cliche that was used years ago? It was probably mentioned as many times as you threatened to flounce off from the sight. I am sure you wouldnt like that to be regularly brought up like you do 'White elephant' and 'smoking gun' so perhaps its...

    Coventry Evening Telegraph.

That is an outrageous comment even for you. What are you doing about it? What would you have us all do? complain loudly on Sky Blues Talk or something equally as effective. You come out with this rhetoric but have no viable plan yourself, or are you suggesting we all just go and watch Wasps...

I dont have any problem grasping the point. But dont let it stop your arrogance. I think you missed the point in your first post, but lets gloss over that shall we. The game of Rugby may be boring to you but it is infinitely more interesting than some of the long winded diatribe you post on here.

Or perhaps we have done anti sisu so much we cant think of anything else to say and hate other things as well? I can snarl, spit and froth all I want on here about SISU but it makes absoloutely no difference at all.

I hope not, but I must admit I am lacking in imagination on that front, although I am with you on being unwilling to roll over. At times like this we need such inspiration, tenacity and drive, and who knows a collective of like minds like yourself could be the step to a brighter future.:)
