They’re public figures - why should their opinions and actions be omitted when reporting on their deaths? Or is it a strict hagiographies-only policy if someone dies suddenly?
I think there’s probably a surprisingly large portion of the public across the political spectrum who hold racist views in some specific contexts, but who would never dream of letting it inform their day-to-day actions and would be mortally offended if they were called a racist like they’re...

Don’t think we needs to rip up the rule book when 90% of all timewasting tactics are rendered pointless if the referees actually take a proper note of breaks in play when deciding on how much stoppage time there is. At the moment it’s literally just vibes.
