    Knee jerk

Worrying thing is the common theme with the Luton game - press us high in our own half and we don’t seem to be able to cope We went longer a bit more at times in the 2nd half which would suggest we learnt a bit from the Luton debacle At times it’s going to require us playing like we did in the...

    The Penalty

Notwithstanding the dive, Godden has an excellent record on penalties across his career. Always looks very confident over the ball. 6/6 scored for us, and just 1 missed in his whole career

Whats Left/ Who do you want ( within reason)

Some funny old posts to read through The Hyam/Ostigard comparison reminds me a little of the Keogh/Cranie partnership we had in the 11/12 season. Keogh a blood and thunder sort of player like Ostigard, chucks himself into challenges and headers - sometimes due to being out of position in the...

I know the lad had some mental health issues last season Every sympathy with him as the pandemic has affected people in many different ways He has a good attitude and I don’t doubt he will come again after a little time out of the spotlight

I agree he will probably be at an L2 club next year given the injuries he's had recently But I think he still has the potential to play regularly in L1

Yeah I think Davies had a bad injury from memory and was only just coming back to fitness in January, hence the loan move He’s easily good enough to get another L1 club

    Baka departs

Maybe. Remember he started at Norwich away and while he did plenty of chasing and closing down, his general hold up play wasn't great He's certainly a better player now than when he joined us and the taste of the Championship will have helped He'll be an asset for a L1 club I'd have thought

    Baka departs

He really was fantastic for that half an hour or so at the Valley Agree on the fact it's defo more of a mental issue than physical/technical with Baka - hope that improves at a club where he can play regularly

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

From what I saw of JJ previously and in old highlights videos since, the biggest thing he'll need to improve is decision making and game awareness He won't have the same time on the ball and Champ defenders will be wiser to tricks like trying to knock the ball past them Think his comeback will...

    Mcfadzean (chapter 2)

I know it’s sort of tongue in cheek :) but we can and should be looking for better than Willis Yes he has pace but his distribution is pretty poor even at L1 level I also thought he was guilty of ball watching quite often and his pace bails him out of trouble a lot Be good banter though so...

    Mcfadzean (chapter 2)

I’m sure the club will exercise the 1 year option on Hyam Fadz worth another year too for the leadership qualities alone Will definitely need a new CB in the summer though
